2. They do MAGIC.
3. Hmm, this is a familiar sight. Fancy a Les Paul?
4. I've a hell of a lot more interest for this bass than any other I posted here! I'm going to think this through as I've got a lot of tempting offers.
5. The nut doesn't affect the playability at all, that video was recorded after the nut broke. Also PM'd.
6. Shortscales are truly great to play, with low action like this its hard to stop yourself shredding even with the thumpiest of tones. Don't suppose anyone wants to give me a Precision bass for it?
7.
Blimey... never seen a faker of one of these! A very fair price IMO... my 72' Triumph is LOUD so I suspect this is as well?
Back when this had rounds on it could get seriously aggressive for a teensy bass.
8. Click here for a video of the bass with me mesing around with the pots and switches. I'm going out now but I'll respond to any outstanding PMs when I get back.
9. I should point out that the nut, although snapped, doesn't pose a problem atm as selotape is holding it together just fine. Also I'm not sure what the switches do.
10. (Original thread HERE.) Very nice bass with a clear vintagey vibe. Its a Japanese (v.good build quality) copy of a Gibson Les Paul Triumph bass and was made in the early 70s, very rare (had never heard one one until I saw it on this forum.) Its in perfect working order aside from one thing: when I put a new set of strings on (Rotosound 88s, rather thick nylon wound strings) the nut snapped at the G string, apparently the gauge was too thick. Easily fixed with either super glue and lighter gauge strings or with a new nut altogether, either way I'm knocking off £20 from what I paid. What I would like: £200 + pp by bank transfer or paypal (buyer to pay the fees I'm afraid). or A bass guitar or electric guitar of some sort. Open to all sorts really, the worst I can say is no. If sent by courier it'll be in a heavily padded box and gig bag. Jon Also, pics:
11. Hows the price? I'd consider trading for a nice head on its own.
12. Just getting this bit out of the way: I do not have any transport so I cannot deliver this in person. If by some luck you live in the Lancaster and Morecambe area then I can borrow one of my parents to drive it to you. Otherwise its pickup or courier only, I'm afraid. Now that that nastiness is over. This is a truly fantastic amp and I love the tone and look of it. It's really flexible, vintagey to modern and all that with a 5 band EQ, deep and bright switches an option to bypass the EQ (if you'd like to use a preamp and not colour the tone further), a sub harmonic thingy (essentially a built in octaver) and a very nice compressor which is one of the quietest compressors I've heard (or not as the case is ) It also has an effects loop, an aux out for an extension cab and separate input and output levels. Unfortunately its not convenient or (if I'm honest) necessary at the moment. I still live with my family and we don't have the room, added to that t has no headphone socket. Its not a small amp and moving it around without a drivers license is difficult. What I'm after: Apparently £300 was too high a price so it's down to £250 now. I'm also interested in trading for a head alone or a bass guitar (MIM Fender maybe?). These cost £400 - £500 new and I'd like something of equivalent value. THE AMP HEAD MUST HAVE A HEADPHONE SOCKET. Otherwise it'll be useless to me, this is for taking to uni. I'll post pics of the actual amp tomorrow when there's light but for now here's a catalogue piccy: Post, PM or email me ([email protected]) if there's anything you'd like to know about the amp. Jon
13. Once again, very good to deal will. Quick and easy transactions, highly recommended.
14. Actually I've just checked it again and it seems to be just the gain knob crackling.
15. Its not very loud and it doesn't crackle while you're playing, just when you turn the knobs really high. I'm in Morecambe, Lancashire.
16. All PMs replied to. Still waiting for money but for now assume these are sold unless I have PM'd you otherwise.
17. Two great sounding pedals, both work great on bass. Micro QTron £30 + £5 for postage anywhere in the UK. Perfect working order but a few scuffs and scrapes on the casing, also lacks orgininal box. A simplified version of the QTron but more than capable of making great sounds. Boss OC3 Super Octave £50 + £5 for postage anywhere in the UK. Perfect working order and really good condition and has original box. Designed with guitar AND bass in mind, has three "extras" to select from: overdrive, 2nd lower octave and polyphonic octave (for chords). Only got these about a week ago and I love them to bits but they aren't suited to my current band and I could do with a little more cash this Christmas. I'm open to trades for w.h.y but only things that would fit in an indie/pop/rock band (i.e. nothing over the top, sadly.) (I can get pics up if you want them.) Urgent price drop!!
18. Just getting this bit out of the way - it has seen better days. Its not damaged in any way but the knobs crackle a bit sometimes and it looks a little worn. Nothing major but a low price all the same. It is 72.2lb or 32.5kg, dimensions are 63x53x35cm. Specs: 325w 15" speaker 2 horns 1 tweeter 1 input gain knob bass/mid/treb eq (knobs) 9 band graphic Eq with on/off button and level knob D/I post/pre eq button volume mute button (gain, graphic eq level and volume all have red clipping LEDs.) Price is £100, down from the £200 (second hand) I paid for it! Pickup only as it's currently residing with my parents, 500 miles away in Morecambe. Feel free to make offers.

20. Pretty much summed it up. The Blowtorch is a great fuzz pedal, going from a vintage buzz to full blown synthyness. I haven't even collected this from the post office yet but I can't afford to keep it (I had one a while ago but had to sell it for the same reason.) I'm not after trades unless its for something really special but I'm a little bored of effects nowadays. Fifty of your English pounds plus postage (about £5). Delivered 1st class asap. Payment by paypal or bank transfer. Thanks for looking. (I'll get pics after I collect it tomorrow.)
