1.
Ha! That's so cool. And sounds awesome, which I didn't expect. I don't think my back would like it though...
Well for an extra £15 I can include a cushy 4" strap that makes any bass feel weightless.
2. Grab a serious bargain. Nearly 2/3 off the new price.
3. Well then the neck, pickups and bridge are worth the selling price on their own. I'm in the market for a J bass, ideally I want a maple fingerboard but I'm putting this on my maybe pile for the time being.
4. Is that a Badass Bridge? What's the body made of?
5. I read the first post and got my hopes up. Adam, you are a bad man.

7. I need that bridge pickup HONK. Up and up, adding a list of trades.
8. Ebay? Oh noes. Would you take an upgraded 51 Precision RI + £250?
9. Tada! A lovely example of a Japanese Fender and why Fender should stop discontinuing their best models! Upgraded with a Seymour Duncan Quarter Pounder, an arm contour (which is a god send if you've ever played a slab body, an American Vintage Fender bridge (the kind they put on MIA Fenders) and a set of loverly Thomastik Infeld flats. Also extra gubbins, a pickup cover, a foam mute, a lovely vintagey Fender strap and the original pickup. More pictures and details? Don't hesitate to ask! Reason for selling? After 5 years of playing and constantly buying and selling, buying and selling, etc, I have come to the conclusion that Jazz Bass are for me. Things I am after: Swap for a Road Worn Jazz, 90s MIA Jazz, Reggie Hamilton Jazz, CIJ Jazzes, non-export Aerodyne Jazz, Fender Jaguar bass. P/X (cash from me) newer MIA Jazz, Marcus Miller Jazz, maybe a Sandberg Jazz? (Not sure how much they're worth.) P/X (cash TO me) 60s Jazz RI, Highway 1 Jazz, Squier VMJ (only the sunburst/maple one). I WILL CONSIDER ANY OFFER YOU GIVE ME> These are just guidelines of the kind of thing I'd like. The worst I can do is say no! 4 or 5 strings, either is good for me. I prefer maple necks but rosewood isn't a deal breaker (unless the body is black, call me shallow). I'm fine with a bit of mojo. Ta for reading. Jon
10. ^ They're fantastic basses but sadly not my thing, thanks anyway.
11. Bump. Up for trade now, my 51RI Precision doesnt seem to cut it in a metal band.
12. FABULOUS: And here's a video of me playing it: http://youtu.be/8S8jvIwaQXM Only 2 weeks old, been given a good setup and a fresh pair of GLOWING PINK strings. Sexy. The control plate has been removed as it was black so it didn't really go with the transparentness; I don't have it anymore. Very tonally even will a slight increase in the lower mids. Passive electronics (vol/vol/tone). It weighs 5.6kg. Side effects may include back-combed hair and leather pants. I bought this bass for £170 plus shipping and it has since been setup and equipped with some rather expensive strings (£45) soooo my price is £140 I'm interested in trading for an acoustic bass. These are the pics I asked them to take before I bought it. It's been cleaned and lemon oiled since these pictures were taken: And because I could:
