The famous ATK series from Ibanez, nothing like there other stuff. Bigger body, bigger neck and bigger sound. This model has the usual triple coil pickup in the massive bridge as well as a single coil in the neck position so, with the help of a 5-way switch, this bass will do pretty much any tone you want: Precision, Jazz, Musicman, etc. Its in very good nick but has the usual signs of use, the truss rod cover is missing but Marshall assures me he'll send me that as soon as he finds it. Its currently strung with DR Hi Def Neon Green strings because I'm so classy.[s] I can be shipped with the original strings if you'd prefer.[/s] (I can't find the G from the original set.) Thanks. Jon

tl;dr: Sale price is £520 collection only, no haggling.. Sale only if I can get a replacement instantly so I'd much rather a P/X with at least £100 coming my way. I value it at £520, I paid £550 but since then the parallel/single/series switch was knocked and now only does parralel/single, hence the -£30. Now, if all that is ok with you, please read on. This 'ere is my Warwick Corvette $$ 5 string in a natural oil finish. I whipped it off basschat after falling in love with it all over again and now I'm whipping it back on because I'm out of money yet again. Fantastic tone, versatile, very playable and surprisingly light. Not to mention cheap, check google to see how much these go for new. As I said above, the parallel/single/series switch for the bridge pickup got pranged so now it only goes to parallel/single so I've lowered my expectations accordingly. It is in used but good condition. What I want: I would like money with a bass, at least £100 coming my way. The bass would preferably be passive, four-stringed and of a Fender persuasion but I'm open to suggestions. As for a set price, £520; this, on the understanding that I have to have a replacement before I ship this off. (I'm a music student.) I'm based in West London and I really would prefer it if this was a face to face transaction so the buyer can try out the bass first. I can deliver it in person within the London area if travel costs are covered. Please note: Seriously, no haggling. This price is perfectly fair and completely concrete.

[s]"Fender" fretless jazz bass neck. Previously a fretted neck but has been converted to an unlined fretless and a Fender decal applied. Lacquer finish on the neck. Okay conidition, the fingerboard could do with a few coats of varnish, there are some small dents and it is missing the string tree and the machine heads are a tad road worn (one has "Nick" etched on it). - £30 . Jazz bass body with chrome bridge. Again, okay condition. Ideal for a project. - £30[/s] [s]Alesis Q25 USB keyboard. Good for Cubase. Get your prog on! - £20[/s] DR Hi-Def 5 string set (BEADG). Only seen a few weeks use. - £15 [s]Thomastik Infeld Jazz Flats (EADGC) I'd hoped to use these myself but I need roundwounds as much as I need money. - £15[/s] (Both sets of strings are cut for a 3+2, 34" five string.) Everything here is for sale; no trades, thank you. I would rather have this stuff collected (from West London) but postage can be arranged at buyer's expense (I'd also need time to get packaging together.).

I bought this not two weeks ago but, having bought another bass that I can't really afford, this has to go! Here's the original thread. This is a very underrated bass, one of the reasons I went for it was because I wanted to see what the fuss (good and bad) was about. On the (much heavier) plus side: It is very comfortable to play, the pickups are very dark but not muddy, it can do a great variety of tones (this is not just a "rock" bass, it can to funk, RnB, slap, etc; it just happens to be exceptionally good at rock!) And, it being Korean made, the construction is very solid; I would happily gig with this bass. On the downside, the obvious hunderbird flaws, neck dive and poor upper register access. Bah, who wants to play those frets anyway? Since buying it I've changed the strap button position to help with the infamous neck dive (which is now a minimum so long as you have a decent strap, with cheap nylon straps there is still some droopage) so it is now on the heel of the bass; this means that there are 2 open screw holes, one where the strap button was and one where I started drilling into the neck and then thought better of it before any damage was done. Both are easily covered by a bit of wood filler or PVA glue and a black marker. I'm asking £100 for this, exactly what I paid. £100 collected from my door, £105 delivered anywhere in zones 1 to 4 in London and £120 delivered anywhere in the UK. If you want it delivered anywhere else then PM me. I have no camera and only a phone and cheap webcam at my disposal so pictures won't do it justice (though I'll happily try my best on request), I would describe the condition of this bass as "acceptable" to "good". No major problems but clear signs of use. This bass will be sold with the strings it came with, stainless steels with plenty of life in them.
