Doesn't affect the sound but there's a clicking noise, doesn't pass through the speaker obviously, if you press it too far (you're playing to quietly if you can hear it anyway ). Comes in the original box. Has velcro strips but they're easily taken off. The Weeping Demon has a normal/low range switch and "Lo" knob (among others) so there's no risk of losing low end there.
