  1. Yes. The one place tracking has been sitting at "we are expecting package" even though seller says they handed it over weeks ago. On the other, no tracking as it is just a few patch cables in the post but they sent an email saying it was shipped weeks ago.
  2. Ive got three different basses with MM bartolinis but i dont thunk they sound like a EB MM at all. All sound great though I really like barts.
  3. Wow! Good thing i didnt start a thread on Brexit! Now been 4 weeks im waiting for two orders shipped from UK.
  4. Love it! I dont play short scale, but i think he is making the nicest basses around today. If im ever looking to buy, id be looking at a long scale version f the white one on his homepage. It says he makes long scales but i dont know if ive seen one.
  5. What are these big switch knob covers many people here have on their pedals? I mean, i know what they do, but are they a certain brand. I dont see anything on lovemyswitches.com but Im probably missing it
  6. I know it, but i never knew a bassist with one. Every guitarist back in the day had it for sure. Will check out the new one.
  7. I need a good analog chorus pedal. What would you pick? Anything besides these three? Im actually thinking ripply fall (ehich includes the waterfall) but not sure i want to go that much.
  8. Ive never heard of these lads, but their prices on used basses seem very reasonable. I csnt believe some of them havent been snatched up. There's a nice red MIA p there for like 900 quid.
  9. i do acknowledge a difference in perception for sure. a mental thing. i cannot say for sure if that translates into real world value.
  10. i've become less tolerant i think. i used to find something to appreciate in just about everything, but now there is just so much shite out...
  11. seeing your username and the thread title, reminded me of the coolest Vigier of all time
  12. To me, it's odd because i dont like when these high end companies put out lower end models, so if i wanted a lakland, it would have to be a "real one" so i guess i would answer yes.
  13. Sounds to me like it's time to dip your toe into the effects pond! Get yourself a nice octave pedal and some diapers.
  14. I understand. I love lakland as a company and they obviously make gorgeous basses. The fella seems super sound as well. But. If you were blindfolded and someone handed you a shop made Joe Osborne and a Skyline, do you think you could tell the difference?
  15. Now we're talking! To me, a top 3 brand. Some of the all time greats. When i was a semi serious collector i had an ibanez collection within the bigger herd. Im only down to three now and one is with a friend in LA. My SDGR1500 rhat i put a kahler whammy on. I currently have these two here in Dublin A 1972 2615B and a 1984 Musician Bean Heres a pic of some of my ones i sold. You see the ibanez explorer im holding, thats an 86 ibanez artcore hollow body hanging on the wall, and behind me you can see poling out my ICB500 iceman bass. That is the cooledt bass i ha e owned and im sad it got away.
  16. It was 500 more than i paid for it! Crazy
  17. Ya, i try not to think about it!
  18. Here's a MAJOR regret of mine
  19. I rwfinned my MIA jazz bass with nitro rattle cans and it came out perfect. Very very happy witth the results. Im currently waiting for it to warm up to do another. Easy and rewarding. Do a primer coat first. O suppose with alder you wont need grain filler or sanding sealer
  20. Im going through thus right now. I have a bass i think i want to sell, but if i think twice, i then dont want to. I want to sell and get a bunch of effects, but i dont want to not have the bass! An 84 Steinberger XP
  21. Not at all. Im on a good wage and still wouldn't drop thousands on a new bass.
