1. used an Ipad 2 for around 2 years now for reading charts from Ireal Pro and Forscore apps on average 3-4 times a week, and no problems at all.
2. it's a blendable pre amp with a valve in so you can mix tube/solid state and then a class D digital power amp - full specs here: http://www.markbass.it/product_detail.php?id=101
3. Just want to say a big thanks to Jake, I had a lesson with him last night on EUB as I'm making the first tentative steps into learning to play EUB/upright and he gave me some excellent and invaluable instruction on techinique etc...this was exactly what I wanted from the lesson in order to enable me to go away and practise safe in the knowledge I'm doing things correctly and won't get into bad habits or do myself an injury ! Cheers Jake, good to meet you and I'll be back for more once I've got beyond the frustrating complete beginner stage - bring on the blisters !! :-) Phil
4. Hi yes, still available and I'm in North London N22. Thanks, Phil
5. speaker fitted, sounds lovely, pics added ! :-)
6. For sale is my SWR Baby Blue original combo, I've had it a good while, probably 20 years and it's only been used as a practise amp in the house. From the web: BABY BLUE The Baby Blue Studio Reference Bass System was developed for the discerning professional bass player in need of a superior small bass rig for studio applications and smaller venues. The Baby Blue is a self contained system that delivers 120 Watts into two 8 inch speakers and a 5 inch cone tweeter. The speaker system in the Baby Blue was patterned along the lines of studio reference monitors and is quite unique to the musical instrument field. Size: 14.5"W x 24.5" x 12.5"D Weight: 45 lbs. Production Period: 1990 to 1993 It needs a speaker replaced as the last one of the originals in there has crumbled so I have a brand new Emminence to put in as soon as I get a spare minute. Then it should be in perfect working order but obviously will test it first and confirm, and also add some photos. Thanks, Phil
7. photos up - you can see the corner that hit the deck which is actually rounded off - slightly more than the scuff I originally described it as, but it lives in the case so I hadn't really seen it !
8. Hi guys, I'm selling my Markbass Tube 800 amp with matching Markbass amp bag, full specs here: http://www.markbass....tail.php?id=101 500w at 8ohms and 800w at 4 ohms, very small & compact at 2.8kgs 3 years old in perfect working condition, I've had it from new. It had a small drop a few months back landing on one edge so a couple of small scuffs and a new gain pot needed as a result – this was replaced and the amp serviced professionally and is now working fine. Can be tried out before purchase in north London N7 or N22 Photos to follow. Thanks for looking, Phil
