1. Chris bought some Delano pickups off me. Prompt payment and smashing communication - couldn't ask for more really. Very happily recommended!
2. Some Delano 4 string Jazz Bass pickups. These are ferrite, noiseless ones - nice and bright and punchy sounding, with a strong output. Hand made and top quality. I had them in my Maruszczyk Elwood Jazz for just over a year, which I bought new. So they're still in perfect working order. I'm only selling them because I swapped them for some other retro style Delanos that are more my style. Bass Direct sells these for £160, so I'm asking £105 including postage. I have a Delano box and everything, so they'll be nice and secure. Collection welcomed from my house in Broadstone Dorset too. The official blurb says.... A high end splitcoil humbucking JB™ fourstring pickup with the narrow sensing area of a classic single coil, the JC4 HE/M2 gives you a full range single coil tone with none of the headaches of previous designs. Our advanced coil design employs carbon steel blades, special ferrite magnets and full shielding. Its full bass and tight lowmids blend fine with very articulate midrange into sparkling harmonic overtones. Just the right amount of output works great in full passive operation and interacts meticiously with today´s internal or external preamps and/or EQs. Also here's a vid of a 5 string with these pups. Gives you a rough idea of the sound... 3. Up for sale is my Ashdown ABM head. Looking for £200. Great gigging amp - loud and warm with lots of headroom. Very versatile for different sized venues, and for many styles of music too. To clarify, this is just the head on it's own - the cab in the pictures is no longer available. I bought this new in 2009, and as you can see from the photos, I have used it heavily. There are a lot of scratches and dings on the exterior, but it's still in good working order. Ashdowns really are built to last, so it still has many years of life left in it. The head has been serviced a couple of times in the past. The only real things to note are that the preamp valve isn't the original - I believe it was replaced with a Marshall 12ax7. Also one the speakon connectors came slightly loose and unreliable, so it has been replaced. Not a problem with it since. The handle is also not the original as the first one broke, but the current one has been very securely on for a few years now. Collection preferred from my house in Broadstone, Dorset. I'm also willing to drive with it for a reasonable distance, to meet halfway or deliver at buyers expense. Any questions let me know. Cheers.
4. Hi everyone. Three excellent dirt pedals for sale. All prices include delivery, and will be boxed and packaged nice and safe. Buyers are more than welcome to pickup from my house instead in Broadstone, Dorset. [s]Wren & Cuff Pickle Pie B - £105 [/s] SOLD [s]Fuzz pedal based on the Way Huge Swollen Pickle I believe. This does everything from a lower gain valvey amp sound, to a real high gain fuzz sustain monster, the latter of which it does especially well. Very usable blend knob too so definitely no loss of low end with this. http://www.wrenandcu...s/pickle-pie-b/ https://www.youtube....LzH5YSvlA&t=24s[/s] [s]OKKO Basstard - £110[/s] SOLD [s]Super cool valve amp style overdrive with a boost. Does that fat, round, pushed amp sound really well, and gets pretty gnarly with the boost on especially. Plus that massive round LED bypass light is very cool if you ask me. http://www.stompbox....rd_english.html https://www.youtube....h?v=E8u_OcH4MUQ[/s] [s]Cog Effects Knightfall 66 - £107.25[/s] SOLD [s]Great transparent drive, that does really well at just adding drive to your actual sound, rather than altering your whole tone. Something I've found weirdly hard to find. It has some different diode options for each channel for different low to high gain sounds, so it's really versatile. I'm only selling this one because it's been sitting unused since I had Tom at Cog build me a simplified one channel version that suits my needs better. One of the best overdrive / distortions you could find in my opinion! More info here - http://basschat.co.u..._1#entry2708686[/s] No trades thanks. Cheers!
5. Pawel bought my Maruszczyk Elwood Jazz bass this weekend. No problems at all with the transaction, and a lovely chap to deal with. Would happily recommend. Cheers Pawel!
6. Thanks Radchenko, but I'm only looking for a straight sale of this.
7. I bought a Wren & Cuff Pickle Pie B from Sam. Great comms. Paid him on Sunday night, and it arrived on Tuesday morning. Can't ask for much more than that. Highly recommended! Cheers Sam!
