I like the reissues as they're not stupid expensive, if you wanna pay the money for a CS I would go for something better than a fender...One point though is the '75 reissue binding doesn't feel as nice as it looks...its bumpy and feels horrible to me!!!

I've just oredered one of the New American Jazzes from Thomann - White with rosewood fingerboard. Probably one of the best combinations ever, yet they don't have it in stock. No problem but Thomann will not get the bass until 30th April!!!! Thats over a month without a bass!!!!! The reason I bought from Thomann is because of thier super low prices but over a month is a long time, does anyone know of anywhere selling this bass with this colour combo for around the same price?

I had to post an alembic a while ago and the postage cost around 50-60 quid for it to go up to scotland ....I remember who that was with but yeah sometimes you need to...maybe not here though

A zon's a zon...if it was a keeper you could always sand it down and re-paint it...if your SURE it was a keeper...

I just play whatever comes to me musically, I'm quite a creative guy so I just start playing! Sometimes I don't find what I want immediatly, but in the process I most likely will find something cool or interesting!

It is stange, HairyHatMan came over yesturday to get my (now his) SR and we got on like a house on fire, great guy nice chatting to him! When I g into Fret the staff are friendly and will try to answer any questions even if it means going out of there way....But as soon as I step into soundcontrol the first thing you notice is that those people standing outside having a fag are the assistants, all of them, so good luck trying to find a cable to try a bass, and the fact when you do grab one most likely they're unhelpful and rude doesn't help.
