1. miller traded! any interest in the fortress or jazz?
2. just seeing if theres any interest in this, its a body from a squire vm fretless jazz sunbisrt, comes loaded with bridge and pups (duncan designed) and pots, everything you need just add neck and your away! only issue on the body is two hairline lacquer cracks coming down form the neck pocket (only on the lacquer not trough to the wood) i bought the whole bass a while ago but used the neck elsewhere, the body has been laying about unused and since i recently built up another jazz dont think i'll use ths one will get some pics up later but looking for [s]£100[/s] £80 posted
3. just got his off here but its go the smaller tuner holes (as per the affibity range) not the standard size holes so they'll need making bigger t accept standard tuners (which i'mnot confident about doing myself) its in great shape no issues - i have now reamed out the holes and fitted a set of tuners so... just looking to get my money back [s]£40 [/s] £50 posted
4. gigged a 'bitsa' jazz i put together a while ago, total cost about £95! sounded good to me!! but i cant help playing my 'wicks!!
5. sorry this has sold forgot to update thread!
6. ahhh my first 'proper' bass! I had a black one!!! great bass type bump
7. '93 warwick fortress one, 4 string in trans red finish. cracking bass with the more desireable slim wenge/wenge neck. bit of buckle rash on the back but hey its 18 yrs old! still looks as good as new on front! at some point a previous owner to me has replaced the pups and circuit for SD basslines and SD preamp (bass/mid/treb - with bass/treble on a stacked pot) and subsequently had a battery compartment routed into the back as no room inside control cavity for the battery with this preamp in it. plays like a dream and i love it but i do have a '94 fortress one also and that one is going nowhere !! the 'wick would come in padded gig £400 shipped (to UK) would definately prefer collection (i'm up in Sunderland) but will ship if necessary ignore the Jazz Pics (am keeping it!) - cant remember which ones are which so didnt want to delete wrong ones!!!
8. may entertain a straight sale at £600(with deluxe fender gig bag) or £650 (with a hiscox case)
9. just putting a feeler up at the minute! ive got a mint marcus miller 4 string jazz in sunbirst, lovely bass in sound and playability but i really love my warwicks so thinking of a trade for another 'wick. Ideally it would be an older one with the wenge neck, def 4 string regardless. i love thumbs so that would be first choice, but would consider others!
10. this is practically brand new, great condition, very heavy duty and excellent padding (to protect those shoulders!!) black in colour £15 posted
11. is your fortress the one with an active preamp? ive got two fortresses, one with standard MEC P/J pusps and pre and another with SD basslines P/J and pre. I have to say that for me theres not a HUGE difference between the two but the SD loaded one is a bit louder! i'm too thinking about the wizard config in mine!
12. up in Sunderland - North East! not after trades TBH sorry
13. bit of a feeler but if i get a cash offer then it can go!! Not had tis too long, its the vintage sunbirst finish, immaculate condition, great tone from the active bass/treble controls, standard MM style pup, maple gloss neck with block inlays. Its a realy well made bass and easily giggable, nice neck (PBass ish profile) chrome hardware at work at minute so will get pics up later Looking for £150 (including padded gigbag) will have to clear out my storage box toget more pics up! but can happily email to any interested parties, just PM me
