The effects I will be using in the HX One are a chorus, an overdrive, an octaver and an envelope filter.

The first one is easy, my Original Effects Cali 76 Bass Compressor, but after that should I put the HX One or the Origin Effects DCX (running as an overall EQ) next? At the moment it’s Cali>DCX>HX One, but I’m starting to think the DCX should come last? I’ll try the latter tomorrow regardless, but curious to see what the BC hive mind thinks.

To be fair to Andertons they’ve always been great in the past 10 years or so when I’ve dealt with them, so maybe they have hit a backlog over the festive season.

I had the same with two orders at Andertons I've placed since the new year. A brief apologetic email, but no offer of a refund due to the inconvenience caused.

Here’s my new, much simplified board. The Origin Effects pedals are amazing, and with some more tweaking the HX One will give me all I need effects-wise. My trusty Rockboard power bank means no need for a mains PSU, but I have a connection tucked away if it’s ever needed. Patch leads were made up by me using high quality Van Damme cable and good quality jacks. Tuner>Cali 76>DCX>HX One>Amp The DCX is set to EQ mode, and really does just make things sound better. The footswitch bottom left is to move up or down through the HX One presets; I’m working on just using drive, octaver, chorus and an envelope filter. -
I’m in the market for a new iron so it’d be great to see what people are recommending in 2026. 👍🏻

Thanks Dave. This worked! Librarian and Central both installed fine on my laptop and it's now updated to the latest firmware. Weird Same issue. Everything would download but when I clicked update it did nothing.

Hello all Trying to update my new HX One from 3.70 to 3.83 and it just won't work. I have installed Line 6 Librarian and Line 6 Central with no issue, but when I get to this screen: If I click on "update from file", which I have downloaded, it allows me to select the file, but then if I try and click on "perform update" it does nothing. I mean, my mouse clicks, obviously, but nothing happens on screen. Any ideas on what the issue is? Run as administrator perhaps, or different USB cable? Cheers G

Literally just picked this up from jimbobothy but it's a tad too small for my needs, so looking to get back what I paid for it and no more. £25 posted using Tracked 48. I'm using Jim's pictures, which I hope is okay with him. -
