  1. Sorry to hear your family have had had such a tough time. I had a year like this in 2024; Sister in Law died of a brain tumour in April, my Mum died of pancreatic cancer in July, and Brother in Law was in a coma and hospitalised for ten months with brain abscesses (he has recovered but won't walk again), and then to top it all off our dog died in December. It really made my wife and I reflect on things, so much so we have decided to retire (I'm being made redundant in March next year, so that forces the issue somewhat as at 60 I have no appetite to get back into the fray) and enjoy life. You never now when or how it might change, and we are lucky to have paid off the mortgage and have two grown kids, so it feels right. Life can throw a lot of crap at us sometimes, as the other comments attest to, but we keep on pushing don't we.
  2. Lovely basses. I’ve got a 4 and a 5 but selling the latter as two of the same is a bit silly 🤪
  3. Used but in excellent condition, these have the shorter length stem. Two bass-side and three treble-side, but they can be reversed if needed. Perfect for Dingwall Combustion basses. Solid machined aircraft grade aluminium housing gives you high durability in an extremely light package Tiny footprint installs easily on small headstocks 20:1 gear ratio with a full size gear and worm for super quick and accurate tuning Stainless steel key prevents tarnishing and rust where you touch yor tuner the most 3/8" string post fits 9/16" [14mm] headstock holes

  5. I'm gutted. I remember I discovered his music when I was at uni in the 80s . "Shamrock Diaries" and especially "On the Beach" were go to CDs for much of the time. The latter is still one of my favourite albums. RIP Chris 🫶
  6. Yep, I’m a total Heistercamp fanboi and use nothing else on my basses. I even wear their belts too! All made to last a lifetime. I’m only selling this because it’s surplus to requirements due to downsizing my bass collection.
  7. A beautiful, hardly used, handmade strap from the lovely people at Heistercamp in Devon. This is from their custom, super soft range. Model: Leedon Tor Leather Finish: Super Soft Leather Colour: Black Lining: Smooth Leather Lining Colour: Burgundy Stitching Colour: Burgundy Strap Length: 46" (41" - 54") Strap Width: 2½” Buttonholes: 8mm standard Price includes postage.
  8. Super smooth sale of an amp to Simon. DPD messed up collection so we decided to meet halfway and in true BC style a car park exchange was duly completed
  9. I’ve had a reliced Sandberg and I would say that is absolutely not part of their aging process. Proving it is another matter of course. What’s the actual finish? You may be able to buff the worst of it out.
  10. A couple of people have asked about trades, but honestly I don’t think there’s anything I want or need.
  11. “Joys of Christmas” Chris Rea "December Will Be Magic Again” Kate Bush
  12. My reading of this is if you're just selling stuff you already own to clear it out then it's not subject to tax. Persuading HMRC of that may be a different matter, of course...
