  5. Frank, that is absolutely positively the last time I want to hear anything about your dong. Dinged or otherwise.
  6. Wipeout - surfaris
  7. My "who cares?" (which could probably have been better worded as "does it matter?") was a direct answer to your question "would anyone else want to watch/listen?". As in, do things necessarily have to be played purely because other people will want to listen to them? Personally, I'd give my left nut to have his level of skill, both in playing and transcribing. He obviously has an amazing ear as well as 'awesome chops' as I believe some of the hep cats say. Or used to, last century.
  8. I like it. I couldn't listen to it all day, but as a bass solo, it's about a million times more melodic than most of Vic Wooten's.
  9. Who cares? I can't speak for anyone else, but if my sole reason for playing was to do what other people wanted, I'd give up inside a week.
  10. Love Me, Love My Dog - Peter Shelley
  11. I Touch Myself - Divinyls
  12. Dancing with tears in my eyes - Ultravox
  13. Shake Your Tailfeather - Ray Charles
  14. Twist & Crawl - The Beat
  15. Music to Watch Girls By - Andy Williams (clock... watch... yeah, tenuous I know )
  16. Little Does She Know, by the Kursaal Flyers. One-hit wonderfulness. When she finished her laundry, she was all in a quandary And made for the street like a hare Her escape was so urgent, she forgot her detergent And dropped all her clean underwear
  17. Little Does She Know - Kursaal Flyers
  18. Version 2.0 of my PLPB (Pretentious Little Pedalboard ) finished. Rattle can black instead this time, wish I'd done it this way in the first place. I won't bother with pics as it basically looks the same The old board is now in the wheelybin, and the bloody paint is still soft.
  19. How Do You Sleep? - John Lennon
  20. Waiting for a Train - Flash and the Pan Oh choice sir. One of my favourite Duran songs.
  21. Blimey, Giblin's one of my favourite players. Loved his work with Brand X, and his session career has been awesome. Fish's first solo album 'Vigil In A Wilderness Of Mirrors' has some fabulous bass on it and it's all JG. Have a listen to this, 2:20 onwards. Sublime.
  22. Head over Heels - Tears for Fears
  23. Yes! What a lovely man TB is, down to earth and humble, and thankful for the musical life he's enjoyed.
  24. OVERrated? Really? How so?
  25. Love this. Robert Wyatt's (definitive) version is possibly my favourite piece of recorded music of all time.
