  1. Anybody know what happened to Janaid Guitars? I remember they were all over the place some years ago...the look was never my type, but then I saw some demos and thought; wow these sound very, very good! Some very good pick ups they built. Also the guy who build them was a great player. Good luck with your sale!
  2. Sold a Leduc bass back to Chris that he sold to me before. As always he is a pleasure to deal with with super communication, fast payment and he was very patient throughout the deal (Covid-19 and the Brexit have made it a little more difficult to ship to the UK from main land Europe...but thanks to the help of Tony aka Hellzero we made it all happen!). Enjoy the bass my friend!
  3. Holy Smokes, thats the kind of bass Fred Flintstone would be playing! Its amazing, GLWTS Hugues.
  4. Sold to a happy new owner and great player
  5. Its got a volume and balance knob for the magnetic/piezo. They are quite hidden visually but easily accessed. You can see them if you zoom in on the picture; they are in between the floating top and mahogany body located around the area where the controls would normally be.
  6. A little bit of jamming on the UBass Fretless. Free shipping if you know what song I had on my mind IMG_2935.MP4
  7. * the weight of the bass is between 3.1- 3.2 kilograms
  8. Up for sale is this amazing Leduc Fretless U-Bass 4 String Headless in pristine/mint condition. Specs are: Mahogany Body Floating Spruce Top 5 Piece Ebony + Maple Neck (center piece is Birdseye Maple) Ebony Fingerboard Leduc-Benedetti Magnetic Pick Up + Fishman BP-100 Twin Piezo Pick Up Original gigbag with foam cut exactly for this Bass One set of Labella Black & White Nylons each http://leduc.fr/index.php/basses/u-basses-a-table-flottante http://leduc.fr/index.php/infos/tarifs/u-basses This bass is as good as it gets in the fretless world. It can do the Jaco thing with the magnetic pick up or sound very acoustic and upright like with only the piezo dialed in. Balance and ergonomics are unrivaled due to the light weight, elongated upper horn and headless design (I will have to put in on a scale but my estimate is that its under 3.5 Kilograms...its the most light weight bass I have ever owned). Christophe Leduc builds some of the best basses on this planet. My main bass is a 6 string headless that will never end up in this marketplace but as I dont play much fretless nor four string and need the money due to the ongoing pandemic this bass will have to find a new owner. Its in absolute top condition/mint, no dings, chips, battle scars etc. and also the fingerboard has no scratches as this bass was always used with Flats or Nylon strings and the ebony board was oiled regularly with lemon oil. These basses are getting real hard to find. Christophe Leduc only builds in very small quantities now and there is a very long wait list if you are lucky to have one build. I am asking 2000 Euros for this one which is less than half the price of a new one. Send me a PM if you want some soundclips of this exact bass or have any questions. Sending throughout Europe is no problem.
  9. Hi Bilbo, glad you enjoyed it And yes the Guitar/Violin Player is the same guy and the drummer is his son actually. Both have been active studio/live musicians for many years and this trio is a fun/passion project to play some more unconventional jazz-rock type of music. There are few clips on the channel and more to come as well as an Album next year.
  10. Yet another home recording but what else can you do in these times.. Inspired by the music of Mahavishnu Orchestra:
  11. wow! very similar to the bass Dave Carpenter used to play: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=iINA9sjORCI Good luck with the sale!
  12. I had this great bass up here for sale at the beginning of the year...there were a few people interested and a buyer who pulled out last minute...so I decided to keep it eventually. Its up for sale again as I need cash....so the only trade possibility right now is with a cheaper (precision) bass + cash. Specs are: Alder Body, Maple neck (gloss finish), Coco Bolo Fingerboard with binding (actually could pass as Brazilian Rosewood), Aguilar 60s Pick Ups, Candy Apple Red finish, Brazilian Rosewood Ramp that is attached to the pick ups via the screws and therefore can be easily removed...comes with a Fender Case. Shipping throughout Europe is no problem. Any offers and questions only via pm please. Thanks.
  13. **Price Drop to 2200 Euros which translates to 2000 GBP right now** **also interested in a (partial) trade for a Precision Bass**
  14. *open to partial trade offers*
  15. I was at my friend Tony‘s place today and played some beautiful basses. But this Kramer Fretless knocked me out. One of the best sounding fretless basses I ever played. I did not expect that.
  16. Either way this Bass has a Bartolini in it (if you open the pictures and zoom in on the pick up you can see „Bartolini“ written across it).
  17. Just had a look: the Pick Up actually DOES have Bartolini written across, its just hard to see (especially in the pictures). So Bartolini it is.
  18. There were actually also Bartolinis without the name written across the Pick Ups used on the Fleas/Funk Unlimited basses. I will double check to make sure.
