4. I bought my first ever elec drum kit from Thomann. I was really nervous about spending that much with an overseas company. After a week, the kit turned up.. Great I thought. After another week, I was just checking my bank statement online and noticed that the money for the kit still haddnt come out. This went on for 6 months!!! So not only did they send the kit out before I had even paid for it, They wouldnt take the payment everytime I tried to pay for it. They wouldnt accept credit cards or something for first time buyers, but I had no other way to pay at that time. Was most odd.
5.
A MIM or CIJ Fender is still a Fender though, isn't it? Seem to remember Fender also making certain series (Lite Ash?) in Korea with an authentic F-Badge.
True, but then with that, you have the USA model to be the next level up or the top of the line. If Warwick move all production, then there will not another level up, I.E there wont be a German Warick to the USA Fender... If that makes sense?
6. Surely if they do that, it would make the new 2010 model Rockbasses obsolete? The only concernable difference between the new rockbasses that arent released here yet, and the German ones are that they arent made in Germany. If German basses arent made in Germany anymore, surely they will just be Rockbasses.
7. Stunning! The bass, not you, lol... Good luck, wish I had the money
8. VMJ on for sale for cheap and good as new. HERE

10. Its got 5 days left, it will go up loads more than that. Most of the bidding takes place in the last few hours. It'll go for more than £200 Im sure.
11.
The Rockbass Corvette has an alder body, maple neck, and rosewood fretboard it seems. Not that I'm saying that there's anything wrong with that choice of woods, but I don't think it could be further from the exotic wood choices found on real Warwicks.
I dont think anyone would disagree with that, but the electronics on both the rockbass and the "proper" Warwicks are one and the same.. Except it seems the preamp, which I would imagine is pretty fundemental to the sound. I emailed the guy selling this and he said he hopes to get a minimum of £350, but wants more. To me this seems a little steep, considering for not a great deal more you get a real one, although saying that, I have no idea how much or what quality the Aria is, so it could be a cracking price??

14. From my brief research, the pickups in Rockbasses are the same as used in all German Warwicks, however the preamp is different.
15. Could you put a price on this bass. It ticks most of my boxes, apart from not actually being a Warwick, but Im struggling to find a proper warwick in my budget. This could potentialy give me the sound I want, and most of the look, but I have no idea what sort of money its worth.
16. When I've sold cameras, I always blur the serial numbers on the public photos on ebay There are many scammers around, and they will use your photos and serial numbers to con others. However, I would give out a partial number to anyone who asked, and probably the full one privately through email.
17. Interesting.. Very interesting. Added to my watch list. Might be worth a punt if it stays at a reasonable price.

22.
Yo. What's the difference between the Standard P bass and the Standard J Bass?
The p has a p pickup, the J has two J pickups. The J will have a thinner neck too.
23.
Do you think I should still go for the PJ or go for the VMJ that I prefer the sound of?
No one can answer that for you. Why cant you try any? Birmingham has several music shops. For now, personally I'd say the VMJ, but if you feel in a few months you want a different sound and you are sticking with bass, then buy a P bass too. I started with 1 bass last August, and now have 4 with maybe another on the way soon. Also bear in mind with youtube vids, often the basses arent "clean". They may be going through amps and effects which may alter the sound. This is why you should really try them out yourself.
