1. Ive just bagged a Corvette Standard Bubinga. I cant wait to get it in my hands. Ive been after one for ages, but couldnt afford one. Then I saw this at a silly price and just went for it. There is much Warwick love here!
2. Yes German as far as I know, but might be Korean? I duno when they switched production. Has the proper 2 piece bridge, Ovangkol neck, Wenge fingerboard, bubinga body. Couldnt see the serial in the photo very well, but looked a bit like 03. I'll post pictures once its in my hands. Dont really care where its made TBH, as long as it looks good and sounds right, Im happy!
3. Warwick Corvette Std, Bubinga....
4. I think I just bought my dream bass for a crazy crazy price. Im slightly tipsy though, so Im not sure..
5.
I think the 2nd last photo is as close as it gets. I can post!
Its tempting, very tempting, just too much money for me at the moment though.
6. I wish this were in Bristol, it would be mine if it were. One small question, do the photos represent the colour acurately or is it slightly lighter "in the wood"?
7. The one in the link sold for £200 several years ago, and another for £120 a while back so does that mean offers around that price or what? Where abouts are you? Postage or not?

9. Hm, just watched it on Youtube.. Not impressed, and in the last 3 months Ive become the biggest Jamiroquai fan ever. Very lifeless and a bit dull to be honest. Not a patch on the ealier songs and videos.
10. Very interested in this, did you buy this from here recently? I was this close to buying it last time if it is. Pics soon please!
11. Mmm, that is nice, would compliment my Aria/Warwick hybrid nicely.
12.
Hi I've never liked the warwick because the baseball necks...... but the streamer stage 2 it's one of the best sounding instruments I've played.... I've bought a custom shop at the Gallery and I recommended to everyone.... It's a powerfull, growl, fat, fantastic sound.... Please see here my basses.... side by side with Ken Smiths, Fodera, Kubicki......... the Streamer it's stunning! Go ahead! http://www.bandatempo.com/baixos%20do%20tempo.htm cheers
You arent helping!! Lovely looking bass
13. You are correct! Just found his gear list. Damnit! Never going to afford that.
14. I was at a small festival yesterday and one of the bands bassists had a lovely looking Warwick streamer. The band were kinda punky/metal but the bass was booming through. You couldnt hear the guitar at all, which isnt a bad thing. The bass sounded exactly how I want my basses to sound. It had that growl at the bottom and the top end was rounded but bright. I couldnt see what amp he was using as it was peeing down with rain and we were sheltering in a gazebo a little way back from the stage I cant get my Waria to sound like that no matter what I try. I dont know if its down to the wood or what? His bass was dark, so much have been a darker wood (bubinga?) dunno what streamers are made from, and my Waria is light again Im not sure what wood it is. Mabe thats the difference? Made me feel crap,as Ive just dropped £700 on building a new PC. That could have bought me a lovely Streamer or Corvette. Maybe time to slim my bass collection and buy one! *edit* Just found the guys equipment list Warwick Streamer Stage II Bass, Rotosound Swingbass 66 strings heavy gauge 50,70,85,110, Trace Elliot AH500-12 Amplifier through 4x12 + horn cab and 1x20 cab Cant see me affording a stage II anytime soon
15. Its really hard work, I havent toured as a musician, but did a 2 week tour around Europe as a set builder for a metal band. We had two big nightliner coaches with 12 beds in each, fridge, coffe machine, sofas. Thing is, I was never able to use any of it as I was working from 11am to 3 am then sleeping and doing it all again the next day. Being with the same people for 2 weeks wasnt to bad, although tempers were frayed sometimes. Incredibly long days, sh*t food for the most part provided by the venues, although Budapest was amazing. They put on a full size feast and it was all delicious. Most other places were just some form of slop or nuggets of random meat. I didnt have time to drink, so I never suffered from hangover, but exhaustion was there in spades. I had a great time and would do it again in a heartbeat, but I'd be more prepared.
16. Also interested in the sansamp if we get a price and Wil doesnt want it.
17. When I was taking drum lessons, it was at school, first thing in the morning at about 8.00 before lessons I worked really hard to get the school to get a drum teacher. The music teacher was a prick, when I asked him about getting someone in for lessons, he said I'd have no chance. He sarcasticly said, if you get 20 people to sign up, Ill book someone. Two weeks later I presented him with a letter with 20 signatures. Anyway, the drum teacher came and we got started on just basic stuff, mainly learning to read music. It was 4 weeks in before we even touched a drum kit, and when that moment came, he covered all the drums and cymbals with tea towels and told us not to hit the drums, just tap them lightly, because he said He couldnt stand the noise that early in the morning. We had paid a hell of a lot of money for this guy, and it was a joke. All but 3 of the 20 people I had got dropped out because they said they hated it and I kept going until the drum teacher actually quit, as he didnt want to work that early. Thankfully it didnt put me off, but I can see how that kind of experience does.
18.
Who needs a pick when you can play like this?
Wow, thats cool.. Im guessing the scarf thing wrapped around the neck allows him to play like that, cos when I try it just sounds like a right mess with hardly any note definition at all. The scarf must deaden the ring when he lifts his fingers off the frets I guess??
19. I had the TD6 before this, well I had the TD10 before this, and the TD6 before that. The TD6 is a great module, but this one is a step up with slightly better sounds and more functions. Really is a great little kit. The module looks snazzy too. BUY IT!!
20. Im considering selling this, as I fancy an upgrade to the TD12. I've owned it from new for maybe 2 years. Its never left the house or been smoked around etc. Everything works as it should, the only thing to mention is one of the cables got caught in the hi hat clamp and broke through the rubber exposing the wire, with a bit of elec tape around it, it should be fine. anyone any good at soldering could cut the cable and resolder the jack plug if it got any worse. All the pads work fine and trigger as they should. The TD9 is the latest mid entry of the V drums range, the module has many functions including metronome, scope function for timing practice, USB host for .wav playback and much more. The module contains 50 drum kits and 522 instruments, all customisable. The pads are Rolands PDX-8 for the snare, PD-8 for the toms, KD-8 for the bass, CY5 for the hihat and 2 CY8 crashes. All the pads are dual trigger and the cymbals chokeable. If you want to see the kits in action, just vist youtube and see many of the videos there. For more detailed specs, google is your friend, as there is so much to list I will be here all day. I do still have all the boxes, although they are flattened in the loft. I have the manual and other documents too. Overal in excelent condition. Usual pad marks from useage, a few minor scratches on the module and rack, but nothing to worry about. No stool, no sticks and no pedals are sold with the kit, Im selling it as I bought it. The kit does however come with the V Expressions hodge podge kit pack on a USB stick, which adds another 50 kits to the TD 9 sound bank. The VEX Packs are highly regarded amongst drummers, as being considerably better than the standard roland offerings. I do have a set of Mapex Janus double pedals complete with case and tools, which I may sell with the kit, but they will be extra. Hard to put a price on this, they are selling new for over a grand, so Im asking a reasonable £850 Collection from Gloucester only, or If you arent to far away and have no other option I can deliver personally for the cost of fuel. More than welcome to come try the kit out before purchase. Please note these pics were taken when I got the kit, so although its in excelent condition still, it doesnt have that brand new shine. I can get take more pics if requested.
