1. Excellent value for the money... (and easy bloke to deal with) Hear www.myspace.com/fredericmonino to hear a jazz version of the Leduc basses... those are really warm Good luck with sale
2. BIG bass... Did u notice ur price on ebay.com is 19 999 dolllars? (or best offer ^^) Good luck with it...
3. Fine ^^ Those luthiers things are quite unique, and usually cleverly made to suit player's needs... U don't happen to have soundclips of this one?
4. Looks nice... Ovie is nice to deal with too... where is this one located?
5. "Doesn't work for my mate..." bump ^^ I just uploaded a song on my space with my 2 band NYC, "Oxydrogène" www.myspace.com/floraimondi , it's a live recording directly in a direct box, passive mode... come check it out if u wanna be convinced... Cheers

^^ Noguera was mine... It's a f####ing sounding bass (only the neck was too thin, and fragile)... Good price for this one if u don't have too big hands cheers
7. I used to have a mapple jazz... I tried it and offered to buy it at low cost as it sounded real cool, really vintagish tone, not too heavy... I put barts on it and it still sounded pretty cool... Good value for the money, but not on the market ^^
8. Good price for sure... It's the SX range isn't it? Definitely not enough 5ers to my taste though...
9. btw, what's the switch for? Kill or active/passive? or ???
10. I love those (proud user of 2), u can hear some on my space : myspace.com/floraimondi (Kassad and Arretes are recorded with them) I have to say they do sound like the bigger ones... Good luck with sale
11. To the top... This is just stunning... Do u happen to have soundclips?
12. I have 2 Fodera NYC One is a 98 with 3T sunburst, has a couple of dings on it, i take it everywhere... i bought a "spare" bass but i'm now trying to get rid of it as i LOVE the Fod necks... I also have a stunning spalted 08 one, wich i upgraded with the Pope 3 band pre, and this one is too fragile (=spalted) for small gigs, and too "decorative" to be played in most bands... but it has a killer B and is the best sounding bass i ever owned, so i work with it and take it to the studio (it's way more versatile than the other one, might be due to mapple, plus it's a 24 model...) Here is a pic of both, so u'd understand : http://viewmorepics.myspace.com/index.cfm?...mageID=15472530 The 98 is "just" a regular jazz, whereas the other has the butterfly one it... i don't fell i'm missing anything, it's just the way it is (last week musicians asked me if it was an Aria or a Yam )
13. This is the right price for one of those... And they ALL sound lovely... Good luck with it, pliz sell it to someone who'll play it...
14. It's a bolt on as i remember? I've seen this on older instruments, u just have to "pull of" the neck to adjust it... edit : oups, my bad, this seems to have reached it's peack, u might have to take it to a luthier so he would carve a bit more so u can pull it back in... My 2 cents Sunny England?
15. u bet he has... (maybe largest in Europe???)
16. Nice trade u should edit your title so everyone knows... Is it still french or has it gone abroad?
17. I think the previous owner put up a youtube vid where he plays it... Lots of "jacoesque" tone as i remembered... B looked tight... Was it this one? (mp)
18. I simply don't care... "Vintage" instruments are often too heavy for me, and i don't like broad necks any more (i'm a 5er player). Also some of the 80's or even 90's electronics are sometimes less precise then what they are now... I own a 98 and a 08... both are great players
19. How would this still be here??? Come on guys 650€... I personnaly have my share of luthier's pieces, but if this thing isn't too heavy, it looks like a bargain (style A, pickups and tuners and knobs would go around 400 new alone ^^) Good luck with sale (how is the weight again?)
20. Any 5ers? Good luck with those... beautiful
21. Can't believe this is still here... I just saw one for sale in one of the Paris shops (humbuckers and buckeye burl top), guys told me they wanted 6500€ for it... Good luck with the sale...
22. I tried both (but not for long)... Kingston is great for the money, i played a 6 string with beautiful top... bass was light, neck is quite big, well balanced and sounding powerful... Frets are a bit too big to my taste, and overall playability is good but not exeptionnal... Soundwise it's good for the money, but don't expect it to be a lifetime bass (lack of personnality and tone)... The US one are WAY better, much more like a Fodera NYC or Roscoe or Sad's... I personnaly don't dig the MTD tone but have to reckon it's very professional in every way : great to play and to record with, good B and even sounding from top to bottom, even if i think i get a more "personal" tone with my Fodera... Better a Kingston than a "mid 7ender", but if u can go for a US, you'll keep her longer ^^
23.
Héhé, twin sister except mine has a butterfly U should put "spalt top" on your title, we quite often see Sad's, but not that often do they have tops like this one... Good luck with the sale...
You're absolutely right, i had forgotten about the swamp ash ^^ Good luck still
