1. typical, skint :-(
2. Sold a pedal to Torquil.............wonderful chap to deal with.Happy to deal with him again :-)
3. now gone
4. wonderful and well regarded digitech tube overdrive. A1 condition, doesn't loose the low end ...............imo you won't find any better tube screamer for under £100 , not to disimilar to the BB preamp . the only difference with this pedal to any other stock is that it has a factory missprint on it saying 2tube distortion" rather than overdrive.......it is %100 the cm2 . £38 posted or trade for why?
5. been playing bass and guitar for 22 years .....still can't read proper music :-D I feel im a very competent player though. learnt all i needed from playing with mates and using m ears
6. I pick play a p bass btw
7. I owned the Darkglass VMT ,i prefer the soul food as it has a lot less colouring to the sound .it was Long time ago i played a B3K .....quite a differnt sound, the sf has more a mid punch yet they can both give you that glassy high.
8. just got this and having gone through lots of other more pricey overdrives (bb,cog, darkglass) I wasn't expecting to much for £60................wow! through a tube amp this thing is wonderful sounding (for me) very cutting and clear.i think it will be my number 1 medium overdrive. Others have said a blend is a bit pointless on a mid overdrive but i think its the key to the SF's sound. nicely impressed :-)
9. i have the same matt freeman, upgaded the pups to dimarzio model p added a gotoh 201 bridge and kiorgan loom........this is my number 1 bass,it has an amazing punch and feel through my rig.highly recormended
10. I recently purchased a lpb1 from Ben........An absolute pleasure to deal with, fast and great coms all the way . no problems here
11. I didn't see that ,it did say "shipping free" in the checkout breakdown before paying though? I'll forgive em a little
12. suuuuper slow!!!.....I thought their pricing was good, tried ordering a bass soul food (£55 free shipping) .....free shipping listed all the way though the buying process until checkout?? (£4.90) the same on a lot of their gear.bit missleading
13. dimarzio model p dp122!! having gone through ooodles of differnt pickups ......these do it for me ,perfectly cutting in a band situation.
14. still up,main trades would be OD's or a decent P neck
15. In wonderful condition, comes with tin etc. this is the v1 which imo sounds better than any other carnation of the VT. everyone should own or at least try the vt. looking for £87 posted or hit me with trades? pics up later
16. As awsome as this is ,it is wasted on me :-( off in to the classified
17. I tried another shot at fuzz in my setup,iv'e been back n forth with many a fuzz ped cog, tall front, black muff etc ......but i think i'm just a solid overdrive kinda guy. This is a Brand new Build ,hand painted ,very good quality parts ..comes with a lifetime parts n labour garantee (if ever needed). I know it sounds biased as i'm now looking to trade this...........but this is by far the best fuzz iv'e used in a band suituation, with the clean, bass and midrange it cuts wonderfully :-) from a depthy crunchy fuzz to gated maddness.it's very aimed towards bass. Mainly looking to trade on other overdrives or pre amp pedals ( Vt,tonehammer,m80) W.H.Y £'s either way depending
18. Iv'e been flicking through his web pages ........Major gas now :-(
19. Used it at practice nast night, the fuzzoptomus sounds fantastic and cuts wonderfully (the best yet) ................ but still try as i do ,i'm not convinced fuzz will ever be for me :-( .give this un some thought as to keep it or trade/sell in pursuit of "THAT" overdrive
20.
Queens Of The Stone Age
+1 on this,nicks the man
21. Yet again i'm having another crack at fuzz in my sound.Iv'e tried so many (budget and pricey) and loved some but never got on with them in a mix....,so i thought i'd give this new builder(LUCID AUDIOFX) a shot . This is a bass friendly take on the fuzz factory, only just had a quick fly through on my practice amp and initial thoughts are ace (this thing is nuts). I'm going to whack up some sound samps and a little review after iv'e taken it to practice.
22. Knightmare :-( will keep m peepers open on the ebay
23. on the off chance you decide to sell can i take 1st dibs :-)
