Nobels ODR 1 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a6TWdIEUZGE ,iv'e had a great time using this pedal .it's a nice alternative to the tube screamer circuit no low end loss at all . does a nice low tubey drive or balls to the wall. only letting go as having a change of sound £40 posted[attachment=225032:IMG_20160227_090656.jpg]
Happy to hear trades :-)
Iv'e just popped John's loom in the CV (250 pots .1cap).........wow....just wow! i love this thing ,it can't be a Squier / surely ?? :-D these pickups sing.
if i had to find any gripes then i would say the tuners, they hold tune ok but are a bit chaff!(gonna change them) and the fairly light basswood can give a slightly cheaper feel (a plus in my books as no shoulder aches from long playing) the neck pocket is super snug without gaps and frets, finish etc are great! ..spend a few £'s on a decent loom and tuners and you have a serious sounding and feeling P. spankingly good bass for money .
I just received one of these in the post today https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=hRCrNIHTARw with the intention of upgrading as a backup.......straight out of the box this thing is set up great to play,a lovely neck and it all looks/ feels well made.
Seriously impressed with it :-)
Got a kiorgan loom coming and gotoh hardware ( standard with my basses)
Was going to change the pub's but these are mighty fine imo .
Very happy bunny,pic up later
Excellent pickup, hot output with plenty of mids.......cuts through grand in a band situation ,Just after a wee change of sound for my needs.
trade for spb1,spb3 , dimarzio modelP or now sale £40-£43 posted
These Matt Freeman's are brilliant, the necks are fantastic......I've had one for a while and pimped it right up with new loom and pickups. It's my main player . whoever buys this won't be disappointed type bump :-)
Got it,it is very cheap feeling to me.i thought the front and back had a gloss finish? Just the fretboard on this one ,not as good as a CV or VM squire imo.....sounds are nothing special. Going to return it. Dang,i thought it would be a hidden gem after reading reviews elsewhere
Andertons have a few of these at a bargain clearance.always been interested in what they sound like , So i just purchased 1 :-) .......can't say no to the price,h ope fully it will handle drop C tunning fine

US standards have seriously dipped in my opinion lol
