    Should have said, I've tried Dunlop and newtone 115 sets... Neither had that roto punch for me

    I play Drop C with a 4 string P ,I've always used Rotosound 110-50 sets.....love the sound and feel of rotosound, I've tried many other brands over the years but keep coming back.... Lately I've been wanting to play harder but with 110 gauge it's a little to clacky. Anyone recommend a 115 set the sounds similar to Rotos?.... As roto don't do rounds in 115 🤷‍♂️

    These don't need much explanation ......they Both sound the absolute tits.The flavour of the b7k is a bit more for me. Darkglass vintage deluxe V2. great condition with box etc £160 posted now £150 Darkglass Alpha Omicron.     Wonderfully underrated TS overdrive imo,that can give a nice grit. works excellent with other effects. There is a Little scuff on the front corner but all in all its great condition.     Tried a B3k and a vmt a few years ago and really didn't care for them at all, so wrote off trying darkglass again....... Just got a B7k last week, wow what an amazing sounding box 💪, just got a b3k to overdrive it....still not super happy with the high gain but low and med wonderful.

    I'd imagine you could get either to sound similar to each other with tweaks? I swear by the VT (have done for years), had a bddi a couple of times and did not like in a mix.... Curious to try a V2 though
