Buying a USA 70's reissue FSR in LPB, so i think my miller is going to be matched up some time in the new year...dirt.
-
Buying a USA Vintage Factory Special Run in Lake Placid Blue/Binding/blocks/matching head...from another bass chatter.
Don't think i'll be needing them just yet...
Thanks for the help guys -
are the RHCP done now? I'm so angry with Flea.
-
smidgin????? Smudgine????? Just pm your offer and get over it, hahaha!??

personally, i'm gutted these basses exist. I think they're OK sounding, but the quality is patchy to say the least. And they aint cheap.
Go to fleabass.com, 'if it isn't right, it won't hit the stores, we'll set every single one up'.
BULLSHIT!
My Childhood hero is a bellend. -
That is a shame, i'd heard good things about them...
Two cases of bad timing/luck?....
There isn't really much excuse for incompetance though. -
any of my basses tickle your trade fancy...not the ricky though...see my sig.
Pm'd though
Thanks

The piezo is a great addition, it's nice for quieter tunes, doesn't sound 'acoustic' as such, but deffo has the vibe.
The bass was a special order for me. At the time the only higher up the spec list i could go was to have a painted headstock!
It has mainly seen studio life, at most 3 gigs, not for any other reason than i've had 15 or so basses to go at until recently.
A new baby, and the fact i'm more or less using exclisively 2 precisions mean i need to clear out.
I mean, i remember dreaming of my Stingray, and it's such a shame to see it go, but it's amazing and needs to be played. -
not got it mate, do you want to resend it?
-
eight hundred with free shipping in the uk? Mega bargain....eh?
-
been on here for too long. £950 for a £1300 bass,? I have to let it go.
-
sevenhundredandfiftypounds that is it....i was going to keep it, but then i saw the sadowsky of dreams....so, £750, tenner shipping, or collect from Manchester.
-
Old thread, but i had to check before starting a new topic.
This is back on ISHIBASHI UBOX, My mastercards arse is twitching like a Rabbits nose.
I must keep calm, £1500 ish, plus shipping. Buy my stingray and bongo folks, PLEASE!!!! -
thanks guys.

nice work....
Must sell other gear 1st.... -
have these on order at work, made in the same factory as the classic vibe gear in China...
Looking forward to being tempted. -
Hi...
I wonder if anyone has used these guys to buy grey market jap Fenders?
I really have to own one of the basses they have on there.
It's a 70's Jazz, 'old lake placid blue' with matching headstock, with the covers etc, or the Teal...or both.
But, is £999 a bit steep? What's the general opinion?
Thanks

The prefix is 'Sq' dating it to 1983, i know they did modern P/J basses at that time, but can't see any info online about the 70's style P-basses having a P/J option. (JV being the 50's/60's style, SQ being 70's styled)

Trades for what?
I'm intrigued.
I'm glad people are looking...
£450 is a blinder for this bass. -
How much for the look-alike? I've been looking.
I want the California Series P/J or the original P-Bass Deluxe in C.A.R. with a maple board because of the Duck Dunn.
It came out at the same NAMM as the Geddy Lee and Marcus Miller...Why didn't it stay?
I've seen Duck play a candy apple red Pecision with a Jazz bass neck, blocks and bound. Pre Lakland, i want to say a 68' neck, may be wrong.
Love Duck Dunn, what a sound. -
I'm reading it...
And...I'm keeping my mouth shut. -
a gift from my other half! i fitted the covers, and the Squier 83 is wearing a cover as i can't get used to playing without it.
the blonde is great, i keep on thinking i should get the two colour burst version.... -
That doesn't make sense...
Why would Dawsons choose 'under par' or accept 'under par' Fenders?
Every dealer gets what they are given.
I doubt and Fender GBI dealer gets 'the cream' of USA Standard Fenders. -
As a point, i noticed the Knob closest to the Neck (Neck Volume) is not the same as the other two, leading me to assume the Bridge Unit is not an original fitting.
Still...
Enjoy
Status Neck for MM

Micheal, i really had thought about the Redray with a Fretless Status Neck, the Piezo would be a winner!!! I'm going to do a Jazz one next year.
