  1. The Jack Casady is going too.

It looks as new, a little playing wear on the back, and a small lacquer dink on the very top of the headstock are the only issues.

I have removed the pickguard, i can retun this before shipping, i thought it looked better off.

I went through a big thing of semi hollow basses, and i'd love to keep it, but there's no point as i'm not using it, and it deserves to be played.
It will ship in an epiphone hardcase, i have a feeling one of the hinges is a bit bust, but it works as a case.

It will ship in the case In a Box. £10 Shipping.

I'm hoping you'll know how highly people regard these basses.

PM me with offers close to, or above £500.

  2. I'm selling my 1987 Jaydee Roadie.

Its well played, but by no means tatty.
It Has a couple Of lacquer dings, these were filled in by Jaydee a year or so ago. It also used to wear a thumbrest.

It started life in 1987 as a Roade 1.
It Went to a shop Called Monkey Business.
It has lived in the Netherlands.
It was owned by 1 Basschatter who had Jaydee turn it into a Roadie IIA, and had a fretdress and the paint chips filled in.
It was owned then by another Basschatter who sold it to Johnny Roadhouse In Manchester.
They had it priced at £899.99, i paid £850 last month.

I had it sent for a checkup with Andy Diggins, at a cost of £24 to myself.

It is strung with recent Ernie Ball Super Slinky Bass.

I want the same as i paid, plus a tenner to ship. The guys at the Gallery have a Rodie 1 Passive for £700 or so, so i think thats fair.

I'm going to order a custom Jaydee with the proceeds. They are that good.

PM me with offers close to, or above £750 (reduced from £850)

  3. Time for the Bongo to find a new Home.

    It looks Brand new.
The only thing i can think of is the small laquer ding on the headstock. And possibly the black pickguard shows signs of play.

I bought this with money from my 21st birthday. So i'm sad to see it go.

It will ship in a non original hardcase, the Bongo didn't ship with a hardcase in 2005 and In a Box. £10 Shipping.

It's a fantastic instrument, and it's appeared on every recording i have since 2005 in some respect or other. Unfortunately, it doesn't suit my band and i can't bare to watch it sit unused. Please give it a good home?

PM me with offers close to, or above £1000 i wanted at first, now £750 plus a tenner to ship in non musicman hardcase?

  4. My Violin Bass is for sale.

Its seen a good bit of action, but it's not scruffy, looks pretty 'vintage'.
The HardWare is a little Tarnished, the Tone Pot could do with being replaced - It works, but it just spins around before catching again. There is also a split in the lacquer around the headstock - resulting from a ding by the previous owner.

I have removed the commemorative 'cavern' Pickguard, and it will ship wit, so you can decide what to do with it. It also has a vintage style Hofner Case - It's pretty Flimsy, and the catches are a bit crap.

It is strung with recent Fender Short Sclae 250's.

It will ship in a well packaged Box. £10 Shipping.

I'm sorry to see it go, but it was an impulse buy, and it has been useful for recordings, but it's rarely used. As you'll see i'm moving a lot of gear on. I just want it all to be used and enjoyed, not sat in a studio.

PM me with offers close to, or above £700.

  5. This Topic is now going to be seperated.

    To Clarify.

The Rickenbacker Is Not For sale.
The Warwick Is Not For Sale.
The Fender 50's was a gift from my missus, and i use it loads. So it's not For Sale.
The Squier is not for sale, as i promised the guy i got it from i would never sell it.
The Yamaha BB300 was my firs Bass so, is not for sale.

  6. Miller £600 ish.
    The 50's Blonde is staying.
The SQ is my main use bass, so i'm hanging fire.
The Rick is staying as my 'at home' bass.
The warwick has no value, as i've spent 10 years making it 'roadworn'.
I'm going to seperate the basses into sales threads tomorrow. All the others are ready to go.
As i said, i'm willing to send photos via mms...

  7. Hi Martin, i'm deciding whether or not to hang up the bass, so i'm having a clearout.
£1100 for the stingray, inc case, it's minty, bar 1 little mark. Near the strap button.
I haven't used it for a while, and its a shame for it to stay unused.
The bongo is going for a grand sans case, as they didn't ship them with cases in 2005.

The stingray is in the musicman porn thread.

  8. Listen guys, i've got rid of that post as it was ill informed, pointless and not in the least bit constructive.
After a few too many last night, think i got a bit self important.
Apologies tho those offended. Apologies to Hadrien.

I have no right to be passing those kinds of comments around.

Put it this way, regardless of my little opinion, he has a signature Smith, and i don't, so i'm sure he won't lose much sleep.

Again, sorry for causing a fuss. Note to self; beer+opinions should = mouth shut.
