Hi all
Bought this to try out a 5 stringer again, and found that this bass has string spacing that is just a bit too tight for me. So...up it goes.
I got it from a fella who said it has been in the case for most of its life. I think that seems about right.
The Super Ferrite pickups on this model get a lot of love, and I see why. It sounds a lot like a Jazz, but not quite. It's got is own cool sound going on.
It's in very good condition and has a low setup currently. The truss rod tuns freely and easily. There is some slight pitting to the finish which I cannot capture well in photos but is evident when you inspect the bass closely. The hardware all works as it should, as do the electronics. Neck is straight, frets are good and permit an action of 1.6mm measured at the 12th fret on all strings.
Comes with a very tidy case too.
