1. I've recently sold an amp and cab to Dan, and he was a pleasure to deal with. We had a slight glitch with the courier but all was well in the end. Thanks mate.
2. I had the pleasure of seeing Beedster use this at a gig last night, and was genuinely shocked at how loud and full it sounded at the back of a decent sized hall. I was even more shocked when Chris told me the volume control was set on 2! I don't know how they do it, but I now know I want one!
3. Awesome Genz Shuttlemax 6.0 including the official foot switch. From the Genzbenz website The ShuttleMAX series offers the most full featured preamp designs, and highest output power available in this class of compact, lightweight amplifiers. Preamp features include: FET and 12AX7 TUBE channels--selectable and blendable, low and high gain settings per channel, four band Active EQ networks with dual parametric mid-range networks, adjustable signal shape circuits and complete LED status indicators. The rear panel design is just as complete with our studio quality XLR D.I. interface, 3 effects loops, aux. input, headphone out, tuner out, footswitch jacks and Speakon® outputs. The dual preamps offer extreme versatility from deep transparent slap tone, to focused, organic mid clarity, to all-out rock grind. The 12AX7 tube channel provides a wide range of gain structure that produces smooth, clean tube warmth or can be dialed all the way up to the critical mass of aggressive overdrive. All tone variations are accessible from the 5 button footswitch which is included. This model produces 375 Watts at 8 ohms and 600 watts at 4 ohms and weights only 5.75 lbs. At this power level and preamp versatility, this ShuttleMAX bridges the gap for many players and their equipment and transporting needs. The amp is extremely potent into a single Barefaced BB2, has almost limitless EQ and control options and weighs nothing! It's a great amp but has been well used and has various signs of wear. Nothing that affects the performance of the head, but worth mentioning for those that like pristine equipment. I'm after £245 including postage within the UK. I may be able to do a deal including my BB2 if anyone is interest in both? Pics to follow.

12. I've just bought a bass from Lawrence (three), and and can confirm that he is a top man to deal with. Great comms, accurate description and speedy delivery. Deal in confidence, folks.
13. Up.
14. Thanks for all the nice comments, chaps. Mr Beedster has first dibs on this, which means it's going to be in excellent company!
15. After accidentally buying another black Precision with a maple neck today (a difficult one to explain to the wife), I'm needing to recoup some funds. I purchased this bass from the forum recently and it is fantastic. It's light weight, resonant, lovely to look at and has real mojo. Eagle eyed viewers may have seen Karlfers original ad, suggesting it appears to have been resprayed by Stevie Wonder on a Friday afternoon (or words to that effect), and that it requires a refinish. I on the other hand am a lover of vintage, reliced and roadworn basses, and really like the semi-matte, non perfect finish. I had intended to polish the bass to achieve a shine, but after receiving it I think its fine the way it is. If you're not convinced, some polish and elbow grease will see it right. The bass has a passive EMG pickup and pots, and sounds great. Compared to my '71 P with a Lollar on board, the 57RI has more top, more bottom and more punch in the middle. However roll the tone knob back and you're in Pino town. I think it's worth a lot more than the asking price, but in the interests of Basschat harmony, it's up for £700. I'm in Margate, postage is fine. 16.
Cool cheers! Been after one of these for a while, let me check my post-Xmas, pre-wedding finances!
For me it wasn't the wedding, but the houses and babies that followed that have done me in!
17.
Does the Spyder have the XLR or jack DI?
It has an XLR DI.
18. This amp is pure class. Top of the heap in its day with truly limitless EQ options, a built in compressor, aural enhancer, Bi-amp capability and extremely versatile output options (500w in bridged mode or 2 x 300w in stereo mode) down to a 2ohm load per side. The awesome 2u Swanflight case is negotiable (i recently paid £80 for it new) or i can include a 2u Boschma case if preferred. SOLD
19. Karl is a top man to deal with and totally up-front. Deal in confidence. Thanks mate.
20. I recently completed a trade with Therealting (J), and it was a pleasure. Top man, and a class musician. Good luck with the bass mate.
