1. I bought this a while ago to use in conjunction with my various preamps for home rehearsal/recording. It is excellent for this purpose as it is absolutely silent. Amp cooling fans are hugely irritating in my book, and this solves that problem by utilising a heat sink instead. Lovely. It offers 2x150w, low weight (despite utilising a proper toroidal power supply, no switch-mode malarkey here) convenient 1u size and it sounds great. What you put in is what you get out. I've actually used this live for a gig with my BF cab and it is surprisingly loud... Do we really need 1.21 gigawatts of power? Sold
 2.
I loved mine. Does everything you could wish for. I found the pre and EQ very good for electric basses, both passive and active! GLWTS 😀
Thanks mate.
 3.
😀 that's true GLWS
Thanks mate.
 4.
If I didn't already have two of these I would be interested😊
There's only one thing better than two of these, and that's three of these.
 5.
Let me know if the sale falls through!
PM'd
 6. Rare UK built rack mount version with JJ valves. Fantatsic 'proper' amplifier with the full valve preamp as used in Ashdown's big valve heads. Ashdown link: http://ashdownmusic....92/550-Spyder-/ Collection from Margate or I can post at cost. 7. Vanderkley 210 MNT with fitted Roqsolid cover. Mint condition, 600w, 4 Ohm. Bassdirect link: http://www.bassdirec...lification.html This is a great one cab solution for the gigging bass player. £495
 8. The Mark Acoustic AC101 is a twin channel 250w amplifier designed to reproduce the sound of acoustic instruments as faithfully as possible. That said, I've been using it to great effect as a keyboard amp, vocal monitor and for acoustic gigs with my '71 P bass. It is ridiculously compact and light and yet still manages to reproduce a full, thick sound that really needs to be heard to be appreciated. Here's a link for more info: http://www.markbass....etail.php?id=73 I'd like £350 collected from Margate, or I can post at cost.
 9. I've recently completed a trade with Seve. He's a top man to deal with, and as honest as they come. Thanks mate.
 10. Due to lack of space I'm selling my 150W EBS Drome combo. This is the original Swedish built model, not the newer stripped-down Chinese affair. It's an excellent combo that manages to combine great tone, build quality and features within a very compact package that only weighs 17kg. I'm after £200 I'm located in Margate.
 11.
Are those power ratings into 4 Ohms? If so, I will take this if it is available. Thanks.
They are indeed. I'll PM you.
 12.
Could this be put back to its original state as a plate amp?
Absolutely, I've just used the existing mounting holes to fix it to the box. I could remove it and return it to standard if preferred.
 13. I recently purchased the BagEnd Minima One here, as I'm stickler for a project. Here's the link to the original listing: http://basschat.co.uk/topic/259870-sold-bagend-minima-one-1000w-3kg-poweramp-l200/ As you'll notice, the seller greatly reduced the price due to a ''slight low level hiss / intermittent static crackle noise, not always noticeable and probably not at all at moderate to high volume''. When I received the amp, I took it straight to work and handed it to one of our electrical engineers who proceeded to give the amp a once over. He cleaned all the electrical connections using switch cleaner, and fitted a Speakon socket that I had purchased in order to enable convenient connection to a cab. I then sourced a suitable aluminium box and modified it to allow the Minima One power amp to be bolted to a frame inside, and the control panel fixed to the front. A great feature of this amp is that it's possible to change its output power with a set of internal jumpers. I assume this is because BagEnd use it in there high end PA cabs as well as there bass cab line. The settings are marked A, B, C and D. A = 500W, B 750W, C = 1000W and D is a custom setting. The amp is currently set at C, naturally, but can be changed back in a flash if your cabs can't handle it. I took the Minima one along to a rehearsal, and in conjunction with my Sadowsky, Aguilar preamp and Barefaced cab, it sounded great. Punchy and full with effortless headroom, and no trace of the 'low level hiss'. I've since used it on two gigs with he same setup, one with a function band and one with a rock band. With minor eq tweaks, I was able to achieve a great tone on both gigs and even received a complement on my tone from the guitarist on the rock gig, and I'm sure we all know how often that happens To summarise, it's a great poweramp built in the USA by one of the best names in the business. It's versatile, extremely powerful and in a rather tasteful aluminium box p.s, no mods were made to the amp in order to secure it to the box, so it can be removed and used for other applications if required. I'd like to keep the amp, but an incoming 'project' forces me to free up some space/project money. I'm after £275 for the amp, collection from Margate or can post if required.
 14.
How much would you want for the SVP pre amp and your spider 3U rack case? not interested in the power amp, thanks!
After some thought, I'd be after £250 for the Ampeg in the Spider rack case, and £300 for the Matrix in the original packaging.
 15.
I did the same thing for ages. Though I know have an Alembic FX-1 in my rack, using the SVP Pro through the fx loop, in to a Barefaced Compact (used to have a Big One). So very similar rigs. It's the nuts. A real cure for GAS.
Sounds like an excellent rig, it's amazing what those cabs can do when driven properly.
 16. I'm selling my Aguilar Tone Hammer Preamp pedal as it's no longer required. It's a great, versatile preamp that can complement/replace the front end of your amp to achieve that Aguilar sound, or even drive a power amp directly. It also acts as a great tool for recording (via an interface) into digital recording software. I'm after £125 including an 18v power supply.
 17. I'm selling this amp and a few other items to raise funds for the money pit that is my house. I've put this rig together to make the ultimate amp for my Barefaced Big Baby 2 (also for sale). The Ampeg SVP contains 5 valves that provide the classic grit and warmth of the SVT, without the need for a forklift to move it. Combined with the awesome Matrix power amp, you have a huge amount of versatility in terms of cab options etc. for example you can run up to 4 8ohm cabs, or bridge the amp for 800w into and 8ohm load, as I have been doing with the BB2. It is an excellent combination that sounds great, looks great, and only weighs around 10kg in the new Boschma 2u rack. I'd let it go for £550 in a 3U Spider flight case as I wouldn't mind keeping hold of the Boschma. Collection from Margate preferred, but will post at cost. 18. I'm selling my BB2 (and a few other bits and bobs) in order to raise funds for the money pit that is my house. The Big Baby 2 is an amazing cab that will handle whatever you throw at it with ease. I've used it in a 5 piece function band, a loud 4 piece rock band, and for low level home practice, and it never fails to sound impressive. It's in amazing condition and has the added benefit of the rather nice Barefaced cover. It also has the optional silver cloth grill, which makes it look proper. These options plus postage from barefaced rack up to around £845, so grab a bargain! I'd prefer collection from Margte, but would post at cost. 20.
The F112 uses the same woofer as (and a similar midrange driver to) those in our previous Gen 2 Big Baby model, so that's a useful comparison.
I used to own a Gen 2 Big Baby, and didn't get on with it at all. Lots of lows and volume, but I wasn't keen on the way it sounded. I now own a Big Baby 2, and am still slightly baffled by how amazing it is.
