1. Great looking bass Barrie. Ive just nabbed a Precision deluxe, with a jazz humbucker at the bridge and it does it all. Black tort RW and superbly playable neck. Thinking about putting an OB3 in there, it's a keeper for sure!
2. On the money for sure. A one note bassline played with real feel says more to people than some technical soulless exercise
3. Gorgeous stuff, love that lyrical but still solid style, thanks for posting
4. Awesome stuff, great to see the instrument used progressively. Was also @GreenMan, wouldve checked this out had I known. Look out for your shows in the future

6.
For anyone dipping a toe in the [s]acid[/s] water, i can recommend the 'Best Of Acid Jazz' vol.1 and 2 double CD sets. Available from Amazon for £buggerall and a great way to hear new sounds.
+1 for both these comps. Great grooves, consistently high standard and thoughtfully sequenced too
7. Traded my Bacchus for Mauros P bass, great deal, recommended! Thanks again and hope you enjoy the bass dude G
8. We all bang on about funk this funk that, but there's only one Bootsy right?!!???

She comes in at 8lbs 10 or 11 on my bathroom scales and sits really nicely on the strap, as well balanced as any bass Ive played.
10. Love Larry, one of the originators, with a unique take on the technique. +1 for the Betty Davis and GCS stuff, awesome!
11. Absolutely, I play my Sadowsky in some real toilets, but I bought it be played, and it thrills me to gig with. Its not an 'investment' or whatever. Lifes too short!
12. Chris bought my Yamaha TRB5 fl. Great communication and prompt payment, clearly one of the good guys!
13. Bought Seans Bacchus. Very accomodating, great communication and speedy delivery. Highly recommended!

Unique styling and great player with full range and quite an aggressive sound if you want from the 3-band eq and 18v active circuit. Its 34" scale. This is a lot of bass for the money! SPEC Body: Mahogany and dark walnut with flame maple top Neck: Mahogany and hard rock maple, neck thru-body Fingerboard: Indian rosewood Frets: 24 fat Hardware: Black Bridge: Heavy duty five saddle bridge, diecast machineheads Pickups: 2 x Ultra ABS4 Controls: 1 x stacked volume/passive tone, 1 x balance, 3 x active tone (bass, mid, treble), active/passive switch Finish: Trans satin red I'd like £200 firm as it is, collected from near Bristol, rather not post as have no case for it, but could possibly sort a box out for cost + postage Now accepting trade bait, lightweight cabs or high end comprerssors preferred cheers

18. Love it, the out of time cowboy rocks! Not far off a Justin Chancellor tone from the Wal
19. Ive had a few great sets of Highbeams and Sunbeams (current SB set a year old and still sounding lush) but found a recent set of Black Beauties to be a huge let down. Coating coming off almost instantly, a sticky feel and average at best sound. Struggled to equate them with all the praise hereabouts and Ed Friedlands classic DR review. Dont expect those kind of QC issues at that price (esp for a fiver set). Love Elixirs too BTW
20. Surprised this thread has gone on without anyone posting this in defence Feel, tone and groove. Also she's a kid, making the most of what she's got. Not yet a great but time is on her side
