1. Hi , I just sold my Reverend R5L to Gilles and everyhting went smooth . I know that this bass found a new home ... Manu
2. I'm selling my Fretted 5-string Stambaugh Custom Designs , luthier Chris Stambaugh creation located in the State of New Hampshire in the United States. Made in 2009, "Single Cut" design inspired by Fodera, it offers excellent sound quality. The Nordstrand dual coils pickups combined with an Delano three bands electronic are really amazing . The range of sounds is very wide and the output level is hot , even in passive mode . The bass is very comfortable and balanced, both sitting and standing. The neck is very stable and access to high frets is just perfect. The new value is about 3000 € (with conversion, shipping and customs charges). - Five pieces Quarter sawn maple/mahogany neck , 34 " scale - Macassar Ebony fretboard , 24 frets with MOP inlay - Open headstock , Ebony truss rod cover , Brass nut - Primavera wood body ( aka white mahogany ) , burl walnut top . - Nordstrand Dual coil pickups - Delano Sonar 3 bands with switchable med frequency ( 300 , 500 , 800 hz ) 18 v - Vol with active /passive push pull , Bal , Bass , med , treble - Hipshot A bridge , with adjust string spacing , now set at 19 mm - String spacing at the nut : 10 mm - Ebony knobs , flush mount dunlop strap locks - Weight 9.3 lbs ( light for this kind of basses ) , very good condition , with a new TKL hard case It's a fantastic bass , i want to sell this beauty because i can't get used to the string spacing at the nut , in fact the neck shape is very near to the Sadowsky neck and i prefer the narrower neck of my F basses . Let's say 1400GBP + shipping from France
3.
Great looking bass.. It's amazing to see 2 Reverend basses for sale at the same time here on Basschat too.. Good luck with the sale!
Thanks ! Two Reverend basses , same brand , but different basses , the Us made are 35 " semi hollow body , and the asian made are 34 " solid body ... Even the difference between US Lakies & asian Lakies is not so important ... Saturday bump !
4. Difficult to find original US made Reverend Rumblefish 5 L Ridged Aluminium finish instead of phenolic . ( was a 200 $ option ) , year 2000. There's only 289 Rumblefish 5 L in the world & only 3 in this finish ... Rumblefish 5L: 5-string with 35 inch scale, two Reverend ( Kent Armastrong made ) J-style pickups, 3-position voicing switch (parallel, single coil, series), volume and tone controls. Simple yet versatile, with ultra-deep piano-like clarity and resonance. The comfortable neck profile and tight B string make for a modern classic It's a semi hollowbody bass , so it does have a unique sound ( like a mix between Beatlebass & Jazz bass ) but very efficient and tight ... I want to sell it because i have two of them . I have used this bass in différent styles like : Blues , Salsa , Pop , Soul music each time it gave me the right sound . If you want a big sound , that's it . The neck is wonderfully comfortable also for a five strings neck . This bass is also really light weight and comfortable for long gigs . The bass will come in the very stylish tuxedo teardrop hardcase ... The bass is in very good condition , almost mint , no fret wear , truss rod totally fonctional , weight is 4 kg ... and will be very well packed . 850 £ plus shipping from France
