This amp is in great condition, and is a superb example of a lightweight amp. It is made in Italy. I am willing to post this at the buyers expense. Only trades id be willing to listen to are for Aguilar and Thunderfunk, with cash adjustments coming from my way, dependant on the model. Any trials welcomed, and feel free to ask any questions PRICE DROP NOW £280 firm Here are the features:

Jack & Balanced XLR inputs
Gain range –80 dB to +23 dB
LOW: center frequency: 40 Hz; level: ±16 dB
LOW MID: center frequency: 360 Hz, level: ±16 dB
HIGH MID: center frequency: 800 Hz, level: ±16 dB
HIGH: 10 kHz shelf, level: ±16 dB
VPF (Variable Pre-shape Filter): center frequency 380 Hz (cut)
VLE (Vintage Loudspeaker Emulator): frequency range 250 Hz–20 kHz (cut)
LINE OUT: balanced XLR, max. voltage 10 Vpp
EFFECTS LOOP (pre-EQ)
TUNER OUT: unbalanced, max. voltage 25 Vpp
SPEAKER OUT: speakon, 1/4"
WEIGHT: 6.39 lbs / 2.9 kg
DEPTH: 10.1 in. / 25.6 cm
WIDTH: 10.87 in. / 27.6 cm
HEIGHT: 2.8 in. / 7.1 cm
OUTPUT POWER: 300W RMS @ 8 ohm, 500W RMS @ 4 ohm
Here are some pictures. What groove is better from these magicians of bass?
FuNkShUi replied to bubinga5's topic in General Discussion
I utterly respect the technical skill of Tamas. Very lucky to have talented players like this in our forum. Hi Tamas!! But its as he said, he was doing it as a demo for the bass company. Meshell is playing a song in a gig. Both very talented, both tasked with very different things in their respective videos. I think most bass players would opt for groove when it comes to playing in a song -

Just what i was going to say. Too much of a coincidence that he is from "crook" surely?

Unlike my other bass that is in this for sale section, this one has been made to look like this on purpose it started life off as a Squier Vintage Modified Jazz Bass. It has been stripped and refinished had some of the contours adjusted and a slight sculpt of the headstock replaced knobs, aged hardwear (the tuners are quite stiff as a result but still work just fine) and then the relic treatment. but don't let that put you off, its a great sounding and playing bass. Like i said, the two im selling will go toward an upgrade. Any questions, feel free to ask

I just want to make everyone aware that the headstock has a big chip on it. I have taken a photo it, as you can see, but it might not be as obvious as id hoped it would be, and i dont want anyone to buy it under false pretences. To the admin, this isnt an extra bump as the post is still at the top and i just wanted to make sure everyone was fully informed

So heres the bass If you are someone who like their equipment in pristine condition, this is not the bass for you. It has some very real wear on it, and ive tried to capture that as best i can on the photos. This bass has been played!!! This personally doesnt worry me, i like it. Gives it mojo It has recently been set up by a professional luthier, has new strings on it, and a new wiring kit from our very own Kiogon. Honestly has the lowest action on any Precision I've ever played. Very easy on the wrist! I also have a black pickgaurd i can throw into the deal if you'd like. Im selling it as i have too many basses. I have my eye on another bass, and one in means one out. This one in particular has to go because i have a '87 Warwick streamer that does what this bass does. Any trial is welcomed on this. I live in South Wales, and your welcome to pop round and have a go on it. Might throw in a cuppa and a few biscuits if your lucky too. It really is a great playing bass. As i said i am looking to fund a purchase, so would prefer a straight sale, but wont do any harm in seeing what you have. Im looking for a jazz style bass, as i have enough Precisions. A trade plus cash from my way is an option for the right bass. Feel free to ask any questions Thanks

I dont get jazz. At all. Im well aware im probably the minority. I do appreciate the musicianship, and skills that they obviously have. But its not for me. Dont enjoy it at all. Ill get my coat.... -
[sub]Ive gone ahead with getting a wiring kit from our resident wiring loom genius on here (KiOgon) so im looking forward for that to arrive to try it out.[/sub] [sub]Im going to try get my hands on a badass3, but they are turning out to be quite hard to come by!! If i continue to struggle to get this, ill take Lozz recommendation and try the Hi Mass bridge.[/sub] [sub] Im hoping with new bridge and wiring, the sound will be how i want it. If not, i will spend some cash on some new pickups. Ill just see how it goes.[/sub] [sub]I think Gruffers has got it right. I think it is a normal MiA PBass that has genuine "road wear". One thing for sure is it has been played!! The serial number does correspond to it being made in Corona in 2008, and it doesnt look like it has been refinished, so im guessing thats the case! [/sub] [sub]Ill keep the post updated for anyone interested and perhaps post a video of how it looks and sounds once its all done.[/sub] [sub]Thanks to everyone for the help and advice[/sub]
-
I cant remember the serial number off the top of my head, but when i entered it in a checker, it said it was from the corona factory in 2008. I will take further pictures when i get in. Ive taken the bridge off because i wanted to get a closer look why i couldnt adjust the saddles. Ill put a few pics of this up too. KiOgon you have mail! Ill decide if i need new pickups after the upgrade in wiring
-
I thought this. Which is another reason i put it on the site. In all honesty i dont know if its been refinished. I took a punt with it, and this is what i got
-
Cheers, and yeh as soon as i saw it i loved it. Just needs a couple of adjustments, and im sure ill love the whole thing!
