1. Thanks for coming guys. Was a lot of fun. Did you spot the Hollywood celebs in the audience? We'll catch up soon Lozz. Maybe we should share a gig with you up your way?
2. Thanks Clarky. Good fun gig.
3. Really enjoyed it. Top music. Top show.
4.
Nice score Charic! Could I also be cheeky and add my band's gig this Thursday at half Moon, Putney to the cheeky advertising list. So far, Low End Bee is coming but looks like he will be rather lonely, at least as far as BCers go. Does anyone want to join him for a pint of mild and some good "gypsy Fleetwood Mac"?
You can set me up with one of the lovelys who go to your gigs. Don't tell Mrs LEB though...

6. I forgot my guitarless celtic disco punk band from 1981. I'm still baffled as to why it never caught on?
7. Us Precisionistas nearly got you......
8.
They did back at post #7
I'm very disappointed in my pathetic skim reading of threads.....
9. I'm disappointed nobody has said they can play both types of music.........
10. Phwoarr! I'd love to have enough spare cash for one of them.
11. You're all being very mean to the Posh Wurzels.
12. G#/Ab stupid note. Always catches me out.
13. I've just read this. Cheque's in the post Lozz. I've enjoyed all the BCers bands I've seen and they've all been lovely people. I think we've played gigs with 4 other BCers bands and that's been a lot of fun too. I must look at those composition threads and so forth too. I'm guilty of ignoring them. I'm also lacking in the other 'social' aspect. Bass shows and bashes. Hopefully they're not the slap fests I imagine. Maybe I should try one? If any BCer in an originals band is interested we've currently got a space free on our 10th May gig at the Grey Horse in Kingston. PM me.
14. I'm going to the last one on Sunday. Fealing tearful already.
15. There's only a couple of places I play where the onstage sound is remotely as good as the FOH sound for the punters. The 30 foot curly lead lets me have a dose of FOH on sound checks. As long as it sounds good FOH and I can hear enough to play well on stage I just accept it and get on with it. Better than the other way around.
16.
You should, you can clearly write good songs mate. TAXI is a publishing intermediary. I heard about it ages ago and thought it might be a load of old pony but they seem legit. $300 to join so confidence and objectivity are probably good things to have before committing http://www.taxi.com/
I think we may use Soundcloud as the less expensive first step. We could team up and have a 'pop hits for hire' user group.
17. Power pop punk with a bit of dubbiness thrown in. Hasn't changed since I started. Even in a three year dalliance with classic rock I played it in that same style. I'm not varied at all. I'll leave that to you lot.
18. We've got a few songs the guitarist and I have written and discounted from teh set for being too 'poppy'. We were talking about how they would suit an X Factor wannabe and we should demo them in that manner. Whether they'd be hits is another matter entirely. Interesting exercise. What's TAXI?
19. Moved my rehearsal especially for you Mr C.
20.
I will be taking the bus this time PS, do you think with my barnet I could pretend to be Rick Parfitt and confuse the punters?
Status Bo!
21.
Looks good for me to be there, esp as I think Status Quo are pants
Nice. Only £5 for this one too.* *Does not include parking tickets.
22. Confirmed support from the Cottonettes and Scarlett's Roses
23.
Going to try and get some of my mates along to this.
Marvellous!
