  1. We did one of those lyric videos the kids like for our latest song
  2. As you like it. We’re going to do an extended 12” stylee mix.
  3. New track up. Lots of Burns Bass VI on this one
  4. Thanks. We'd also got some more airplay. BBC R6 on Saturday night just before 11pm. I had just turned off 5 minutes before 😂. No idea we were going to be played. I can't believe our media team weren't on this...
  5. That's lovely. Same as my first proper bass in '79. I loved it but peer pressure made me p/x it for a '68 P Bass that wasn't half as good. If I had the funds I'd be in there.
  6. Yes. Both correct. A teasmaid possessed by an alien Chivers jelly proved inspirational.
  7. The other half of KM did it all. No expense was spent. I held my breath in the vacuum of space and just got on with it like a trooper.
  8. We got Keller Dome played on Tom Robinson's Introducing Mixtape on BBC Radio 6 (very) early this morning. Iplayer link at 25m 25s "Life affirming upbeat electro pop" says Mr Robinson. Chuffed.
  9. Hi Lozz. If it keeps going like we hope we'll look at gigging in the future and recruiting the extra hands we'll need.
  10. PS. Who knew a Burns Bass VI loved feedback so much?
  11. Something without tort or sunburst involved. Even worse is gold hardware. Quirky older designs are what visually appeal to me. I'd love a Mosrite or a Ric. Although my No 1 bass is a sunburst P Bass🤔 At least I swapped to a black plate to make it slightly more bearable.
  12. The answer for me is is that apart from being physically easier they are a lot of fun to play. I like the different, more rubbery sound compared to a long scale. My Mustang also works really well with effects. My Precision is still getting plenty of game time as it can do some things the JMJ can't. It's nice to have a choice. i know they are quite faddy but that's what made me try one to see what all the fuss is about. It's certainly a different world to my first short scale which was an horrendous Avon EB0 copy.
  13. I had one and it was very good at what it was meant to do.. It was a great all in one rehearsal piece of kit. I just found I prefer separates. I like to have at least two fuzzes for instance and in the end I was linking other pedals to it which defeated the reason for having it. Same way i prefer separate heads and cabs to combos. You don't miss flexibility until you don't have it.
  14. Happy with my board now. Lots of nastiness available.
  15. I've gone right off most kinds of rock at the moment. Only stuff with synths in or obscure 60s garage appears to float my current boat. The nastier and shorter the better. Probably a metaphor for something?
  16. Thanks all. 118 views. That’s positively viral for us....
  17. Grab your Kia-Ora for this big budget sci-fi extravaganza.... warning. Involves a Mustang not sounding like a Mustang.
  18. From the Studio wav file I’m afraid youtube sound conversion wasn’t as good as now in 2013.
