7.
Do you mean bump? yeh, I'm not keen on trace elliots - too green for a start! Seriously, though, the tone sounds too digital to me and the overall feel is very.... preset-ish
I'm looking to replace mine, would love an old school ampeg like sound but in a package I can actually lift of the ground! anyone with ideas or advice I'd love to hear them!
 8.
You ought to come and try the MM Sub 5 that I have on sale. Really nice bass & has the punchier sound your looking for, I'm on the look out for a P bass + my pansy fingers cant cope with a 5! If your interested let me know. Cheers.

 13.
What did I say?? I knew you'd get shot of it once the Shukers turned it. This bass is damn good (I know cus I've played it!!!) as good as most USA fenders, if not better.
Ahhh...you could always buy it, you knows its a bargain, could go with all your warwicks & rics!
 14. Hi everyone, I'm selling on my California JM as I have too many basses & alas the Sandberg isn't getting played enough & I could do with the cash! Specs are: Standard J body in Cherry burst, maple neck with rosewood fingerboard, Delano J & MM pickups, 2 Band active with passive bypass switch, Sandberg hardware. The J/MM configs list around the £900-950 mark & this one is just over 12 months old & in pretty much mint condition. I'm dropping it to £575 (if collected) for a quick sale. Courier would be a possibility but collection preferred (based in Birmingham). Thanks for looking & drop me a line if your interested. PS I'm not really looking for trades but may be tempted by a clean fender USA P bass, duck dunn/bob glaub sig or even a 4 string status S1/S2 + would discuss a possible cash balance either way
 15.
Id love a Sandberg Ken Tailor basic 5 With a maple neck
I've just sold a blue fretless version of this, they are a fantastic bass for this kind of money!
 16.
Damm just bought a shker 6 fretless and am looking to change my 5 string now to a sei or a shuker. Just when i thought it was safe to look at the for sale section again!!!! bump on me.
I've got two Shukers & your right, they are one of the best kept secrets in the top end market, top notch build, look great & are harmonically stunning, this is an absolute steal at this price & probably won't be up long, whoever buy this will be one happy bunny! good luck with the sale.
 17.
but not as ampeg... Yeah, tried out an ashdown with a fender jazz in my music shop, liked the tone quite a ot, then switched to a trace elliot and almost puked...
Was the trace good or bad? I've not been near one since they went bust, all to heavy for a feeble old fart like me to cart around!
 18.
Yet another candidate for me if I sell the Status.
I'm also skint so feel free to take a punt you never know, I may just go for it!
 19.
Hi guys, Up for grabs in my Ashdown MAG300 115 combo. Don't play anymore and it's a bit too powerful for practice. £300 cash. Willing to trade up for smaller version of Ashdown amp or other brand. So if you think your electric blue is not powerful enough, bung a few quid on top and trade up with me. I really don't need 300 watts. Thanks for looking. PS West Midlands area.
Great sounding amps, worth every penny, how come your letting this go so cheap? its a bargain! I used to have one of these & have regretted letting it go ever since, if I had the dosh I would be seriously tempted.....
 20.
Glad you're enjoying it...although I have to say I'm missing the suitcase rig quite a bit.
Ahh..... you could have this one... mucho cheapo, open to offers!!
 21. Sunny Great Barr!!
Good luck with the sale ! Where in Brum are you giblett ?
22.
I love my PJB's to bits! With the ext cab you get 300 watts of the purest bass tone you are ever gonna hear! Wanna know what your bass really sounds like - well buy this and find out! I can see why you're selling it, but surely you must have some kids or elderly relatives that you could move on first....?
Interesting thought, dunno if I can squeeze 300w out of my mother in law!
 23.
Jus' to let you know theres a for sale forum just a tad bit down the page.... Just a thought. mayyy help your sale... just a a tad Anyway, I love these amps. I've got a similar one.... and love it!
It's a great sounding amp, loads of balls but alas my back is shafted & moving this thing is killing me, looking for one of those genz benz jobbies on wheels!
 24. Hi folks, Ashdown ABM 300 evo amp head for sale, very little use & in excellent condition. Specs are: 325 watts into a minimum impedance of 4 ohms, high/low instrument inputs, line input, DI out, sub out, tuner out, 7 band eq, effects send & return, sub harmonic generator, tube preamp stage, a great sounding head but I need something a little smaller for the gigs I do these days. I'm looking for in region of £180 but I'm open to sensible offers. Cheers for looking. PS based in Birmingham probably could courier but collection preferred.
 25. Hi, knobs are volume, pick up blend, & 3 band eq. There is a passive bypass by pulling up the volume knob. I've not had any probs with buzz or noise from it so far so should be ok. Weight wise it is light, probably in the region of 8lbs although I've not put it on the scales. Finish? It seems good, the Lakeland's have a rep for being really well built & finished (way better than quite a few American Fenders)! so the is no reason to suppose otherwise (this one has no marks & is pretty much as new)! Price..... Oooohhhh They were going out at £1100 new & it is mint so already discounted.... dunno, try me!
Dang! That sure is purdy ... but then I'm half magpie on my mother's side. There's not much about these basses out there. What do all those knobs do? Is there a blend? Can it be played in passive mode? Do the lipstickers hum/buzz at all? How hard-wearing is the tinsel finish? And what does the bass weigh? About the offers - are you easily offended?
