1. Why did this come up just before my girlfriends birthday! Such a nice bass.
2. http://my.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?MyEb...RK:ME:LNLK:MESX Now on ebay, 2 days left!
3. I'm not sure whether to keep this, I've just bought a VBA head and cab off ebay, but I've already got a Peavey 810. Just wanted to see whether anyone would be interested and how people think an 810 vs 412 would end. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...IT#ht_500wt_951 Will end early if I get a sensible offer.
4. You call that a pickup? THIS is a pickup.
5. If the Marshall stuff goes I'll happily take the Peavey off your hands.
6. Does the sale include a case of any kind?
7. Serious bargain! Where from may I ask?
8. Bump. Comes with ESP hardcase. Taking sensible offers.
9. http://www.bandland.co.uk/esp-ltd-surveyor...e=google-simple Haven't had a chance to take photos, will do if anyone is interested. Collection from Newport, South Wales. I can deliver within 50 miles. Reason for sale is I used it to record 2 tracks and it hasn't really been used since £250 or trade.

11.
Yup, great solo tone, absolutely awful in a band. The trick is to find a bit of sonic real estate that nobody else in the band is using. Sub 50Hz and you're all over the bass drum. 200-1kHz is where the rhythm guitar sits. Vocals fit in between 500Hz and 2kHz. Lead guitar fuzz takes up the space from 2-5kHz, and anything above that is string noise and cymbals. That gives us 2 octaves between 50 and 200Hz to fit the majority of our tone in. It amazes me how many bass players (and sound engineers for that matter) have no idea how to fit things into a mix. A
Had no idea - really helpful actually!
12. I always used to go for a huge mid scoop, as tone wise on it's own it sounds pretty punchy, but in the context of a mix, sounds awful.
13. Hey guys! Sorry to hijack this thread but I'm after something fairly similar, two small stage rigs. One would consist of a foot controlled front of stage lighting rig and the other would be a foot controlled strobe. I've tried to research this but I can't really find anything. The strobe I want would be a tap tempo controlled switch, so that it can be synced with the song. If anyone has had any experience with something like this let me know!!
14. Man, that is actually dangerous. I've never seen a 6x12 either!
15. Oh man you're in bristol too! I would buy this but I just bought an olp
16. Awesome price for the cab, especially with the flight case!!
