1.
I understand that around the middle of this year Mr Apple did indeed collate as many outstanding BC member orders as could be found at the time. He then passed the information on to the Doc for his attention.
Since then, Howard has seemingly avoided contact with BillyApple, myself and all other members attempted to make contact. Si
2.
I saw him on Saturday and he is OK. But he was laid low for a while with a virus and may still be working his way through a backlog... I think you could expect a PG for around £30.... depends really!
Perhaps you could enquire as to why he hasn't replied to me since 26th May 2014 regarding a job I paid a deposit for on 21st October 2013?! Si
3. Will get these added tomorrow Si
4. As always lots of fun, thankyou to everyone who organised! Had to leave before the group photo to get to my gig in Kent, oh well, always next year Si
5. Oooof, that's a beauty! I'd quite happily swap out my black '73 Precision for that!! Si
6. Again, bit too late notice, but I can bring a looping setup that people can have a go through, with some effects and what-not. Don't have a lot of space to bring many pedals as I have to leave for a gig at 3pm, but if there are any pedals brands/types that people wanna try, lemme know. Obviously always happy to talk about pedals/effects etc Cheers Si
7.

Ooooo, don't see many Broadcasts on boards, how are you using that? Si
8. The best Filter I've used (and still do) is the MXR BEF, sounds great, very versatile, love it. A surprise for me was the DOD FX-25B, not so versatile, and a very slight gain drop, but excellent sound, it's my go-to backup. That said, I've yet to gig a Groove Regulator, and very interested to do so! Si
9. How did you find the standard HS on bass without a blend? Low endy without being flabby? Si

I've never seen the difficulty in using Eagle, and I came from zero experience with using any CAD type programs. There's some great tutorials and its very powerful. The free version allows PCBs big enough for most pedals. Si
11. Pretty bloody interested in this! Going for a look now! Si
12. The '66 is a Production model soon, however it's orderable now if you email Tom Si
13. I would always take a 5string to a gig where I didn't know what singer was turning up, got caught short a few times with singers wanting stuff in Eb, D, C etc, 10mins before the start, where the 5 string simply helped with positions. Not essential, but slightly easier to transpose on the fly. Si
14. Lovely looking Ibanez. Adam Nitti plays SDGRs now, the higher models (like this) seem great. Si
15. I have a Rat & a Knightfall 66, very different pedals!! I've used both in the same band situation, and whilst the 66 sits a bit nicer in the mix for that band, the Rat really is snarl city and you gotta love it for that Both together would be pretty sweet though! Si
16. I mean its a 1963 all original Precision with original Blonde case, from a dealer. Its pretty rare all in like that, in the UK anyway. The Pino thing probably isn't adding THAT much to the price. Si
17. I'd like to try some 6 strings if anyone has any plans to not bring theirs and can be convinced otherwise!? Si
18. My favourite filter! Someone get on this Si
19. Hi guys, Thanks for the input. Absolutely, this type of question will always be subjective, and I agree that most people will adapt to an instrument. Nothing wrong with researching an initial spec though huh . I largely gig Fender 4s, so a 19mm spacing is what I'm used to 80% of the time. That's not to say I'm looking for a 19mm 6string, because I don't think that would lend itself to chords?! I'm not fussed about slapping. I've been borrowing a Carvin Bunny Brunel, which was setup as 17mm. Seemed comfortable, but did notice the difference between it and 19mm. Scale length I'm less fussed about I think, however I'm still not sure I enjoy 33" Agreed that I need to try as many as I can, however as someone mentioned, not loads of them around We'll see, ongoing project. There's a lovely Shuker Jazz 5 for sale here, but 35" scale and 19mm spacing, could be a toughie Si
20. Considering a 6 and thought I'd do a little canvassing for what people are using with regards to: String Spacing? Scale Length? What reasons for the above? What type of playing/techniques are you using that above choices help with? Thanks Si
21. Wow! Stunner. I'm currently deciding on whether a 6 would work for me. This is certainly on my radar! Whereabouts are you? Si
22. Ashdown have always been spot-on with regards to customer care! Good lads & lasses for sure Si
23. Guys, this is a brilliant dirt pedal, with plenty of low-end. Get on it! Si
24. I had a Skyyline 55-02 once and didn't think much of it. Beautiful finish, but dull (sounding, playing) neck, polite (boring) preamp. Meh. I'd love to try a Lakland P as good as my '71 Fender P....now that I'd buy . I would really fancy a Skyline Decade 30", but I emailed Lakland and there's no plans Si
