  1. Hi, northwest from memory
  2. IMHO £3-4K or if you actually want to sell it £2.5-3K, but if its that beat up less, but thats my opinion of course (i repaired some dings on mine it's not as big a deal as Headless USA will have you think, with the right stuff)
  3. Well I prefered the construction of the L2, more of a resin with real density, I liked my streamline but just couldn’t bond with the shape, the S2000 was nice but I just couldn’t get the action I wanted, and having no truss rod there was nowhere to go in terms of adjustment (unless it went back to Rod involving heat treatment) it sounds cool all this no truss rod business but I don’t think they all stayed perfectly stable, and……i unashamedly cashed in on ‘Rob’s not making anymore’ hysteria🤣
  4. I guess it depends on ‘U’ or ‘C’ P bass etc etc, I found the status to be shallow front to back as does my current bass (goodfellow) but as you say quite rightly all opinions eh? 🤷‍♂️
  5. had one of those too!🤦 gotta say though if someone were to reproduce the L2 now I reckon it would fly off the shelves!
  6. Sold mine last year, if only it had the neck profile of the status, for me the nut was too narrow (38mm from memory) I read that Ned asked Stanley Clarke for advice on the neck to which he advised a narrow nut and deep front to back, neither to my tastes🤷‍♂️
  7. Hi, so is this an AVRI? Cheers
  8. Well I did kinda assume as much, so do many other amps have this? Can’t say I’ve seen it, thank you
  9. Is this a stupid question but why the 2 inputs? (Active & passive basses)?🤷‍♂️ why would you?
  10. Bargain, forget your PJB headphone amps these are another level and no cables! love mine
  11. Some strings from David, as described, good comms & quick postage (Inpost), spot on
  12. Hovering very slightly under 10lb on my bathroom scales
  13. Good morning & thank you (it plays as good as it looks too)😀 i'll pop it on the scales when i get home
  14. +1 Steinberger, all these years on and it's still groundbreaking, cut short wayyyyy too short too early, stupidly sold my L2 last year! perhaps a 42mm nut with a shallower neck profile and you have perfection IMO, the strap design worked well and wow what sustain, is that because of resin as opposed to graphite? the pure 'mass' of the construction
  15. tiny bit of heat and cotton thread, it wasn't stuck on there that well in the first place........GO FOR IT, scratch plates are sooooooo 1980's🤣 (IMHO) what the combination on your's? rosewood? quilted?
  16. Hi all, I have this stunning Musicman 20th anniversary (1976-1996), stunning flamed maple with birds eye maple neck, immaculate other than very slight tarnishing of the tuners and a small ding by the jack socket. I have taken the pickguard off as I think it looks far better without it (it was only stuck on, I’d need to find it) I’ve also changed the knobs to black as I think they looks better (imo), of course I have the originals, comes with its original tweedy type hard case, plays great, these were I think made for 1 year only in a limited qty.
  17. i've got a these and i must say they're brilliant (i was using the PJB headphone amp and i got sick of all the cables, it was all just such a 'Faff') this is a different level, whoever buy's will be impressed (and i've only scratched the surface of the possibilities). GLWTS
  18. and about as graphite as say..........a new Status🤷🏼
  19. that's me, and i can testify the neck finish is soooooo smooth and from memory a very comfortable 42mm nut? i wanted to recreate the 'custom shop relic' feel/look and it came out brilliant (IMHO)
  20. and you haven't even posted a picture of the back of the neck! thats the best bit😀
