  1. Don’t know if any of you guys check the site out very often but prices seem to be creeping up, do you think BassBros have an effect on market prices? I know every business needs to turn a profit but wow…… I’m looking for a Natural/Maple stingray and I see there was a nice Stingray Classic on here at 1650 now advertised on the Bassbros site at £2k! I guess if they’re paying a decent price and you need to shift something why not! I’m not knocking these guys in anyway and wow they get some great stock (most of which I haven’t seen advertised anywhere else). What do you all think???
  2. 11k!!! Really? You’ve played a blinder and he/she has had a nightmare (or just wayyyyyy too much disposable income) it’s wood & wires! Oh……..IMHO🤣
  3. I’ve just bought one of these, I’ve had many basses (inc P’s) and these are brilliant, as good as CIJ/MIJ whose owners seem to think they’re worth £1k now🤦 and soon to be the next JV. I can’t leave without saying the common BC call of: ’stupidly cheap & ‘this won’t hang around for long’🤣……but seriously, great basses & GLWTS
  4. I was just thinking , the only thing wrong with a Nate Mendel is the awful colour (IMHO) but this looks great GLWTS
  5. I’ve had one of these, super comfortable to play, If I remember correctly I only sold it because it had a 44mm nut, Lovley bass though
  6. And you haven’t drilled holes for the bridge cover👍 I can never get my head round why ppl do that and leave it off🤣🤷‍♂️
  7. Small family 😀
  8. Closely followed by ‘won’t hang around for long’
  9. Kramer DMZ4001A, 1979, superb condition, plays great with tons of sustain, minimal fret wear, I had a pick up surround made which looks more aesthetically pleasing, (no drill extra holes and the original is included) lovely grain and includes the original hard case. I should imagine this is quite rare now. Trade wise I have 2 specific wants….1. Musicman stingray, natural/maple preferably 2eq 2. Fender American precision sunburst with maple or RW neck (no 44mm nut widths pls) cash adjustments either way and can travel within reason for a meet up
  10. Priced about right. Few days ago. GLWTS
  11. Hi Paul, yes I have the tugbar….somewhere😄
  12. £325…..Absolutely immaculate Classic Vibe 54p, 1 run Chinese version, great review on these and rightly so, lake placid blue (I think) gig bag included. Plays beautifully. No trades, possible meet within reason, will post. cheers Roger
  13. Hi all, anyone replaced an EMG HB on a early L2, I have a new pick up I just don’t know how much of the wiring kit provided I need to use, thanks in advance roger
  14. “I can’t believe this is still here”! 😄
  15. What does that even mean???😄
  16. 1. What does it weigh (just a cheeky bump)? 2. This won’t hang around long (of course, it always does)🤣 anyone?????
  17. Lovely, does he mark his basses with serial no’s or a signature of any kind? Often wondered.
  18. Kevin helped me out with a couple of Schaller strap buttons, posted them 1st class to me and wouldn’t even accept anything £! Top guy and top basschatter, thanks again Kevin 👍
  19. Just a short note, needed a couple of strap buttons for my newly acquired status and Kevin Lindsay came up trumps for me, posted 1st class and refused to take anything £!! What a gent and a credit to the community. i don’t know how to share the decent deed but thanks again Kevin
  20. Hi, it’s to take double ball end strings which are readily available, you can buy an adapter quite cheaply that will ‘clamp’ the string end at the head, hope that helps, anymore questions fire away. Roger
  21. New, 4 string, couple of tiny marks, 38mm nut, having just bought 2 headless basses it’s a project I’m never going to get round to, lots more pics available, can’t seem to upload anymore! Painful🤦
