1. Hi there, reply to both threads: Chriswilliams666: I'll sell the pickups for £60 plus the postage as i paid £80 them Cocco: Cheers for the offer mate but i'm only interested in the SPB-1's for the trade and i would prefer a trade to sale on these pickups Cheers!
2. Here i have up for grabs a set of Seymour Duncan SPB-3 Quarter Pound Split P Bass pickups. I'd preferably like to trade them for a set of the SPB-1 P Bass pickups please Condition - 9 / 10 I would say 10 but they're not brand new so they can't be 10 but basically, they look as if they're new I fitted them to my old sunburst P Bass that i had for about a month before selling it but i took the pickups out before i sold it so they were in the bass for about a month and that is all theyve been used for. After that, i put them in a protective box and that was that. Reason for selling the bass was I was made a very good offer for it so I couldnt refuse. Theyre excellent pickups and i have a set in my other P bass (Which is currently being re-painted) but i want to try out some SPB-1's so yeah. If you have some, let me know Cheers Stevie.D
3. It would cost alot to post it mate. I could try and get someone to drive it up to derby unless you can get one of your parents to come pick it up Upto you man
4. Sold!
5. Wow, ouch man... That seriously sucks... What cabinet is that on?
6. There just seems to be no interest in Leo Quan's right now is there dude... I've got a chrome one for sale, and exactly like you, would like to trade it for a black one but no one seems to want to bother. anyways, here's a bump to help you out man
7. I use the Seymour Duncan SPB-3's in all the P Basses Ive had (apart from one old one) and they really do improve the tone and help to give more bottom end as well as filling out the high end. Best pickups for a p bass in my opinion. But thats becuase they give me the exact tone i want for the bass
8. Hi. if i could arrange a courier for this, could i have it picked up? cheers
9. Bridge is now sold. Thanks to mr AndyTravis =D

11. Hi mate, i know this may seem a stupid question but on the ebay listing it says left handed but the pictures make the bass look right handed... So which is it =P
12. Cheers mate, i've gotta check it against my 4x10 MAG cabinet to see if i can make it into a stack
13. I don't think they are. Although, the American Vintage '57 Reissue Precision seems to be a very good bass. I just dont like the american standards to much
14.
To provide basic shielding against hum. Brass, as far as I know. No. No, it serves the same purpose (though arguably not as well) as the shielding. It's just wired to ground (the back of a pot, etc). http://www.guitarpartsresource.com/bass_elec.htm Yes.
Well thats all my questions answered. Big thanks to you ~tl, your a big help (Y)
15. Hi Basically, I've been looking at some really old Fender Precision Basses and I've noticed alot of them had grounding plates under the pickups so I was just wondering: 1: What they are there for? 2: What are they made from? 3: Will it improve the tone of my P Bass (fitted with Seymour Duncan SPB-3) 4: Will it still work even though I've got cavity shielding on my P Bass? 5: How do you wire it in? 6: Where can I get one? 7: Will I still need to wire a ground to the bridge if I fit one of these ground plates? Cheers guys Stevie.D
16. Hi mate, what are the dimensions of this cab? Cheers!
17. Oohhhhhh, why dont i have anything worth £800 to sell... I played a Warwick Neck Thru Thumb 4 at music live through a brand new Trace Elliot AH1200 rig last year and wow, just wow, what a bass. I really want this as I'm GASing for one of these or a Rickenbacker 4003 So anyways, Have a free bump on me!
18. Oh right =S thats wierd man, i played it just before i sent it and it was absolutely fine... sorry to hear that man. are you sure it wasnt a dodgy cable or dodgy input on your amp (not slaying your equipment there dude =P)
19. Hey, has anyone out there tried using the Seymour Duncan SRB-1n and SRB-1b in their Rickenbackers? If so, how do they compare to the originals in a Rick 4001/4003? Do they still posess that unique Rickenbacker sound? Cheers!
