I've calmed down.

There aren't many mainstream manufacturers that aren't overpriced if you ask me, but Warwick really do take the p**s. Don't get me wrong, I've owned one or two nice Warwicks, including an absolutely lush black SSI, but would I pay like £2500 for one? Not in a month of sundays.......

I absolutely love the look of the SC Thumb. However the prices are disgusting. There is no way anyone in their right mind would or should pay anything like that for a Warwick. I'd be hard pressed to pay half that!

+1 for ADADG - that's how I used to tune in a previous band. Also, I would have thought that tuning your E surely only takes a few seconds?

I'd either have Jon build me a pimp ass jazz, but the one bass I have always lusted after is a Sei Original 5 which the below pic of James Leach made me desperately want!

Thankyou very much for the kind words! The webby is in need of an update, were not a 4 piece anymore for example! But were waiting until the tunes are all mixed which should hopefully be in the next few weeks. As for the acoustic thing, because our drummer and second guitarist live in York, all our songs start out as just bass, acoustic guitar and vocals funnily enough we've spoken about doing an acoustic ep along with the one were about to complete

That's exactly the kind of criticism I need really we've made a point of not over complicating what we do live and in the first version of the song I think there is only a very small section towards the end which we aren't able to totally reproduce, but it's not even noticeable but obviously with the second version there are a few more layers in various places which would make the whole thing more cluttered in a live performance, so I appreciatively take what you say on board

I have attached the old version of the track which is a quicker and tuned in standard, the newer one is slower and half a step down. We paid out a fair bit for the first track and the second one has been recorded and produced by our drumist. Any feedback greatly appreciated!

Haha cheers dudes! Band is going to be called Wearenumbernine and we kinda wanted to do something along the most recent DEP/Every Time I Die vibe so the comparisons are nice to hear! As for the production, that is all done by our guitarist at home so he will be pretty chuffed with the good feedback

After the demise of my previous band Veils, I am starting up a new project with the vocalist and a couple of mates from other previous bands. I had said I wasn't going to do anything metal related again.......I lied.

Not sure how many, but probably fewer than I have done for a number of years. Got to play Ghostfest though which was one I've fancied for a while. Incidentally, turned out to be my last ever Veils show and the day before my birthday too!
