1. Many moons ago I saw her band support Aztec Camera much better then the main act. R.
2.
If you can go back in the cupboard and find the rest of the Sterling I'll take it!
Sorry It's now in Belgium with a fellow Basschatter, the bass not the cupboard! It was a lovely bass to play. R.
3. I have tried a few octavers and now have an MXR Octave Deluxe and it's by far the best, I can't get mine to track as low as BTGAndy though.
4. Cheers for the refin price info. I vote for off white with a red tort pickguard. R.
5. Not wishing to hijack the thread but roughly how much is a refinish? I'm after a Lakland Skyline but don't like a lot of the limited colours, although it's wasted money I have thought about buying one and having it changed to a colour I like. R.
6. Lovely bloke to deal with, sorry I didn't have time to chat more. R.
7.
MB1. ..Is it 3 ply?(white black white sandwich)..
Yup
8. BassJase - strikes again.
9. I found this pickguard in the cupboard I was clearing out today, it came off my Sterling when I replaced it with a black one. so I think it's an original Musicman one, although as the bass was secondhand I can't promise it is. how do I tell? No idea what it's worth so I'll start at [s]£20 [/s] £16 posted Royal Mail 1st Class.
10. I have a box full of Bass Player Magazines from the last few years in a box ready to go out for recycling if anyone wants to come and collect them from Sydenham, South London they are welcome to them. it's a form of recycling I guess R.
11. That's great news, nice that it will get some use rather then sitting on a shelf gathering dust.
12. That's a very nice solo on the fusion track. Good luck with the sale. R.
13. Thnks for all the nice comments guys.
14. Waited ages for one of these to come up for sale, sorted now though. Good luck with your sale. R.
15.
I use one with an EBS Fafner. My dream is to have two and drive the Fafner at 2ohms... One day! Someone needs to buy this cab now to stop me wanting it so damn much!
I can't imagine the sort of air a Fafner a two 212's would move, you would need reinforced trousers to stand in front of it
16.
Best cab I have ever owned... Bloody good price as well...
Cheers, sods law says I'll sell it then start playing again and spend forever waiting for another one to come up for sale. I have used it with Hartke, Ashdown and Mark Bass amps & it has always sounded great.
17.
Me wanty!! PM Coming your way dude!!
It's yours
18. Bought this and there's not a single tune I'd want to learn from it! pretty awful book but if someone wants to give it a try they can send me an SAE and I'll post it to them. the book is A5 size. Cheers R.
19. A top bloke to deal with and mega understanding as well. R.
20. I have hardly played in the last 12 months and although I love this cab I don't really have the room for it as a piece of furniture! Just over £800 new plus I had a cover made for it that cost about £45 so I'm looking for £550.00 It's in excellent condition, no scuffs or scrapes and has only been used in rehearsals, the black paint on the board that the speakers are mounted on show some brown from the wood, it's nothing really but I like to mention it. Stunning looking and sounding cab. As for trades I might be interested in one or two neo high end 1x10's or a Lakland 5 string, see link below. I'm in Sydenham, South London if you want to come ant try it out (quietly ) Technical Specifications Frequency Response 40 - 18k Hz Sensitivity 103 dB Power Rating 600 W RMS Impedance 4 ohms Volume 103 liters Height 61 cm / 24" Width 58 cm / 23" Depth 44 cm / 17" Weight 24 kg / 53 lbs COLLECTION FROM SOUTH LONDON R. 21. I don't think it is as the one on Ebay is in Kent and being sold by a shop, assuming I'm looking at the right one
22. Stick a black pickguard on it and it would suit me, shame they are only making 100 of them
23. I like the look of the Joe Osbourn 5 in silver. R.
