  1. Thanks guys/girls, have heard the Ed Freidland one is good, on more than one occassion, so will try that. Not totally new to slap, mainly use thumbing. Just need something to bring the whole technique together. Again thanks children of Bassworld!! Buba
  2. Hey everyone, can anyone recomend the best slap bass DVD, i spotted Alexis Sklarevski on you tube and he has a great smoothness to his playing. He also has a DVD out, but looks quite old (not that this matters)... Any ideas? Buba..
  3. I would go for a Lakland Skyline or like me, buy a 24 fret jazz, beautifull bass with really versatile electronics. I can get so many sounds out of it....Oh and you can switch from passive to active too!!!! Buba.
