These were around £650 when they came out in 2005. I bought a tobacco burst one brand new back in 2006 I think. They were all Quilted maple apart from a black one. I owned it for a few years. sounded great, nice and light too. Cant remember the neck profile but it wasnt super skinny if i remember. I thought the electronics sounded great. One of my favourite band are mezzoforte and one of the unknown great bass players is Johann Asmundsson.

Every bass player is great on this epic album. Anthony Jackson's bass playing on this record is especially fantastic.

I suggest you put in a drop in preamp like an Audere or an East, Turn it into a super jazz. Oh come on the guy has just some Christmas money.!!!

I had this bass up for sale recently but i decided to keep it as its just an absolute joy of a bass to hear and play. Anyways im not a fan of black basses so when i realised Atelier Z basses are routed from the back so you can take the bell plate off i thought its going to look killer without it. And i can still put it and the pickguard on if needed. But im really not sure what color. I was thinking sonic blue then i was thinking going for a tobacco burst, then i was thinking going for a blue sparkle or a cream. Could do with some ideas..??. Its going to be high gloss in keeping with Atelier finishes whatever i choose.

Got me some rusty ones. Any idea how to clean them without getting the Dremel out.?

Id suspect I would get on with any wood combo And. Not fussy with a £5000 Fodera me. 😆

There are a few guys on BC who seem to go through Fodera's like I go through Tesco pants. Im curious as to why. Maybe the tone/wood combo isn't for them.

No mate its the 4 ohm version. So a lower volume cab i guess. Thats ok though. I dont the full 440 atm. Ive been assured the Glock will sound awsome with my Atelier.!!

Ah ok. So the output will stay at 250w with the Glock 115. I thought i could get the full 300w because the cab can take 300w.

Im not going to be playing loud atm. I may get a Glock duo or another bigger amp for the amps full capacity.
