  1. You cant be serious. Love Sexy,, Diamonds and Pearls, The Gold Experience were great albums. and his live music was just.... He can be hit and miss but so are our ears as listeners. The guy didnt have to have chart toppers to be probably the best musician of all time. Putting lyrics like "We can stroll the mezzanine, buy some dirty magazines" then talk about eating ice cream. I just think thats so clever. A guy that played 27 instruments should have every musician in the worlds respect. Im never usually a fanboy of anyone but when it comes to Prince. Well its Prince.
  2. You've got enough And. The mans GAS is out of control
  3. What a stunner that is. The necks on these Laky DJ's are just THE best.
  4. Musically I mean... I remember when this first came out in 87.... It was played on Radio 1 and various other stations endlessly.. I just cant imagine, even how epic this record is it would be played on mainstream radio stations today. Aids, Heroin, Crack, etc etc.. I just haven't heard a record this profound played on a mainstream music station in a long long time.... Sign O The Times.? Or maybe main stream music isn't as good as this anymore.
  5. NooooooooOOoo.. Jazz basses are so cool looking.. but you might not find my wife attractive. Thats how much this thread means.
  6. BC Rich, Gibson SG, Warwick Buzzard, Warwick Dolphin, T Bird, but what the fxxk do I know. It doesnt really matter though does it. Marcus Miller could make the same music on any of these basses and it would still sound epic.

  8. I watched the SBL Podcast with him and he comes across as very humble polite man. What a monster player he is. Too busy.? Maybe depends on your perspective but this guy knows his bass playing inside and out. I personally love hearing what these Gospel cats can do. Its like watching a Lamborghini of the bass world. Better to have it and not use than not have it in the vocabulary.
  9. Brian Bromberg is a Beast and I didnt know it.. And because I dont much care for the Beatles ive grown to appreciate Mr Mcartneys bass playing. Ok this isn't the Beatles but what a bass line. Its so musical and totally propels the record. There is a live version when he plays this line and sings. Fantastic record also.
  10. Ok im done Bill Conti,s finest.
  11. This score for Dirty Harry by Lalo Schifrin is epic.
  12. Its the greatest intro to any Incognito album imo. Randy HOPE Taylor on a Moon bass. His playing is insane musical groove.
