2. Tobacco Road - the Animals. I can't see how that bass line works. I know it's the proper sheet music, but is it right ? This is my tab for it.
3. They sound happy compared to this - Jim Reeves - Old Tige. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JaEGlYFhnRc (Tige you were faithful faithful to the end Tige how I miss you you were my best friend) Three years of Army Service done and I was headin' home at last. I got to thinking bout my dog and things long gone and past. How old Tige pulled me from the creek when I had no pulse or breath, and how he saved me from the chargin' bull that gored my Dad to death. As a kid I'd dream of bears and tremble to my toes Till old Tige come up to my bed and nudge me with his nose. Then my fears would melt away and Tige would go lie down, I'd drift on back to sleep without another sound. The big bus stopped I got off - it was awful dark and thick with fog. Then something gently nuzzled me and there stood Tige my dog. I wondered if my faithful dog had met the bus each day And all the dreary winter nights since I'd been away. To have Tige meet me here like this, I was...I was really glad 'Cause I hadn't needed Tige so much since the day they'd buried Dad. Two long miles still lay ahead, but what I didn't know A giant Dam was being built where the old road used to go. I thank the Lord for sending Tige and I followed where he led, Knowing well without his help that I'd be good as dead. Tige inched along this way and that, going rough and slow, And I could hear the water lappin' at the ledges far below. Then through the mist I saw a light and mother in her chair, I reached down to pet old Tige but he wasn't there. I'm thankful Mom you had old Tige these three lonely years I owe my life to him tonight, I couldn't help my tears. You say you wrote me bout the Dam, well, God was sure with us I didn't get your letter, Mom, but old Tige met the bus. I hate to tell you son, she said, but now you've got to know. When you left it broke his heart...Tige died three years ago. (You were my best friend)

5. Hi, I may be interested in this, if I sell my powered system ( need money so downsizing ) I have a mixer, which we just use for vocals, and 2 passive PA speakers. Would this be all I need ? Could I take the output from the mixer straight into this ? Richard. I live near Reading, so could collect.
6. Mai, Oui. Sorry, that's the limit of my French. Yes I would, and still have the original packaging, so should be ok. No idea of cost tho'.
7. There's lots of good neo cabs around. I'm a similar age and only started playing again recently. I had an Epifani UL 310 which I should have kept 'cos I now realise how good it was. But now using two 1 x 12 purple chili cabs weighing 14 kg each, and they sound fine to me. ( wouldn't recommend them tho' 'cos theire customer service is non- existant ) Try Epifani.
8. Just bought a combo from Pete. Excellent condition ( the combo, not Pete ) ( although I'm sure he is ) Nearly forgot to leave the cash - sorry Pete. Nice bloke, and a pilot too.
9. Here are the manuals for mine ( which is for sale ) which explains how to use one, and may help you decide how easy or difficult they are to use.
10. Hope you're not gonna use that axe on it. It's lookin' good.
11.
I have the terror 500 with 2 aggie GS 112 cabs.... which I imagine would be similar in volume to your PC cabs. Even playing big rooms, with hundreds of people, without PA support is possible. I've never really even made mine sweat. It's seriously loud. I'd imagine through a couple of 15s or an 8x10 it would be earth quake territory. Don't sweat it. It's a fantastic amp, and if in the unlikely event that you don't like it, you can always move it on here very quickly I'd say.
I see the GS cabs take 300 w. Do they work ok ? I assume they do. So why does my PC with a 300 w celestion distort ?
12. Well, the terror is louder then the RH 450. The cab with the original 300 w celestion can't take the terror amp. Didn't have this with the RH. The modified cab, with the 450 w eminence is ok. Now need new cabs. Or modify the other cab and fit an eminence. ?
13. ok, so I've got the terror 500. How should I connect my two speaker cabs ? If I use one of the amplifier speaker outputs to the first cabs input socket, and then use a second lead to connect from the link socket of the first cab to the input socket of the second cab, they are wired in parallel, giving a total 4 ohm load. Or should I use both speaker outlets, one to each cabinet ? What's the difference ? And which switch position, 4 or 8 ohms, do I use for each method ?
14.
Good stuff, I'm sure you'll enjoy it. On the Bugera side of things I have to say I love their guitar heads. I also think the Orange Terror is one of the most lifeless heads I've played through so what do I know
Hi Mog. So have I made the right decision ? Have you tried a Nuke ?
15.
Hi Fryer, On the speaker changing subject have you checked, either yourself or with an expert, that those P.C. cabs are any good for the 3012LF speaker? I ask as I went to put some of the 3015's in a cab and was told don't bother. The analogy I was given was 'It's like putting a Ferrari engine in an old Skoda' i.e. it will work, but not very well at all in that enclosure. Regards, Jon
Hi Jon. Well the pc cab is within the volume limits for the 3012. I still need to compare the 2 before I change the other ( fromn celestion to eminence ) I'll let you know.
16.
how much power do you need? and what kinda loud? valvey sounds louder than the whatage loud or just massive amounts of solid state watts? If valvey... i have a head i've been trying to sell. 600w into 8ohms.... but that wasn't my main suggestion otherwise if the seperate pre and power route is a good idea check out krispn's eden amp he's got for sale, and just find a pre amp and bang!
Luke, thanks for you suggestion, but I've bought a terror bass 500. Let me know if you're interested in the RH 450 ?
17. I knew no-one would like the Bugera. Anyway, I bought the terror base 500 yesterday - couldn't wait for the 1000, and probably would have been too much anyway. Only playing pubs, etc. But the new band's lead g has a Marshall full stack. So hopefully I'll be ok. I'm using two purple chili 1 x 12 cabs, 300 w each, but I've changed the speaker in one to an eminence 450 w - 3012 LF.
18. I want something loud, so I was going to get a Bugera Nuke, but am now thinking of the Orange terror bass, the 1000 due out in January. Or is there anything better for £400 ?
19. The sub is a 'Gamma series ', '600 w Processed Active Subwoofer '. No number though. It says - 37 to 125 Hz, and max SPL - 126 dB. Size around 630 high, 570 wide and 510 deep. North Hampshire, between Reading and Basingstoke on A33. And I could wrap in in bubblewrap and cardboard, but it's heavy - 36 kg. I could possibly deliver - where are you ?
20. I've got a Hofner Club bass, 30" scale, hollow body, and it's much lighter than my steinberger or fender p bass lyte.
21. Slightly different, but how do you hear what you're singing ? We've tried stage monitors, but were thinking of in-ear things ?
22. Sorry, but what's an ACG ?
