  9. Can't argue with this really. As much as I'd like to spend more, I can't justify it. If I can't justify it, it's not worth doing. And as others have said, if you did spend over that, you'd be too paranoid to take it out of the house anyway, so what's the point in having it?

  11. I have a Tascam DR-05 as well, great wee thing and always had great results from it. Mainly used it for recording new songs at rehearsals, really helps with not only remembering what the song was, but also for refining ideas for parts and seeing what works / what doesn't.
