1. Just found Yamaha's THR Session app for Apple, its written for the THR range of amps, but should work without, looks pretty good for a freebie: App page on Yamaha site
2.
I feel strangely drawn to this. Two silly questions. Well 3, really. What is the width of the neck at the nut? Weight? And are you up for any trades at all, cash either way depending on trade?
Width at nut is 42mm I dont know the weight of my particular bass, couldnt get it to register on the bathroom scales, and the Hofner website doesnt give a weight. I am not looking for any trades at the moment, just clearing the decks.
3.
what scale length is it, and where do you get strings? thanks
Morning, it's a 30" scale, standard short scale strings required
4.
You're selling it because of what your colleagues think of you?
No, purely judged attempt at humour. I just don't use the bass, no time at lunch and elsewhere I use full-size basses. I would like to streamline the collection to those that are in use only.
5. Version 2.0 of the MiBass head is on the way http://www.gear4musi...ht-Amp-Head/P93
6. I am selling my Hofner Shorty, bought it on a whim a couple of months back, I thought I needed a practice bass for the car whilst at work. My colleagues think I am a bit weird if I sit in my car playing with myself at lunchtime so the bass can go. Its in good condition, comes with soft gig bag as well. The price is £75 delivered, priced to go. Let me know what you think.
7. I am looking to sell my Little Bastard rig and associated bits and bobs. All included items have been used at home only, and only by me, as with all my stuff they are in great condition, like new. I am selling the rig mainly because I need a setup more suited to home use. My two year olds bedroom is directly above the "music room", It is too loud to use at a decent level and there is no headphone output, so I tend to use my Zoom B9 almost exclusively. I am looking for £480 collected for the whole set-up, I am based in Suffolk (home: Ipswich work: Stowmarket). Photos added across the next few posts. Let me know what you think.
8. Will bought my Aerodyne Precision, top bloke to deal with. I was delayed in sending the bass to Will but he was really understanding about the whole thing, paid promptly and let me know that the bass had arrived safely. Thanks Will
9. I have had dealings with Tom a number of times on Basschat, and on every occasion he has proven himself to be a top guy to deal with. This time round he bought the Geddy Lee that I had bought from him a couple of years ago, the bass has found its way home! Thanks Tom, more than happy to deal with you again. Mike
10. Vox do a headphone version of the amplugs now, set of headphones that plug straight into your bass. £99 and only one cable http://www.gear4music.com/Guitar-and-Bass/Vox-amPhones-Active-Bass-Guitar-Headphones/O6B
11.
Hi guys, We've just bought in 20 more of these pedals at the £99 price tag... (just letting you know)
Damn, £10 cheaper, bought too early. Where is my receipt?
12. Things have been a bit hectic round here and the Wahoo has been sat untouched since it get delivered a week back. As much as I know I will love this pedal I just think that it is going to be too powerful for my needs, so rather than opening up the parcel and using the pedal I think it best that I leave it in its as new state and see if there are any takers here. The pedal currently retails for £250 plus postage and packaging, I paid £210 incl. delivery for it as part of the pre-sale, I will let this go for £200 delivered. If there are no takers here, will see if Sonuus will take it back, bought thought I would pass the reduction on first.
13. Selling my Fender Geddy Lee, more information found here in the Classifieds section. Price is £400 delivered, set low to allow for the fact there are a couple of large dings in the paintwork. More information in the link to the Classifieds above.
14. Has anybody got hold of one of these yet, what are your thoughts?
15. you should be fine, I was refunded after my pedals became out of stock.
16.
If it says 'crafted in japan' Serials with T- 6 digits is 2007 - 2006 http://www.fender.com/en-GB/support/articles/japanese-instruments-product-dating/
Thanks for the link ninja, mine is MIJ so dates to anytime between 2007/10.
He's 59.
Lol
17. I have an MIJ Geddy Lee that I want to put into the classifieds section, but I cannot seem to age it properly. The bass is an MIJ and has the Serial number: T057726. According to the websites I have check this serial would make the year of birth 1994/95. Can this be correct I though the Geddy's were first made in 1998. Thanks
