    Evening All, Selling the Geddy Lee Jazz bass that I bought from PauBass recently, his sale thread is [url="http://basschat.co.uk/topic/206071-soldfender-geddy-lee-l435/page__p__2059182__hl__geddy%20lee__fromsearch__1#entry2059182"]here[/url]. There is no profit being made here, passing it on at the great price I bought it at. This is the second time I have sold the bass, I sold it first time round to enable the purchase of the Mendel P Bass. I sold it to Tom1946, he sold it to PauBass and then I bought it back again. Nothing wrong with the bass, other than a couple of dings mentioned in PauBass's thread, I am just not playing it, pretty much using the Mendel exclusively. It is for sale at £435 delivered or £425 picked up from me directly. Payment by BankTransfer, or fee free PayPal. Thanks

It looks cool too. :-)

    Difficult to say, have not Specifically tested that. Definitely louder though, feel like it can keep up with loud guitarist and drummer with ease, makes sense as the amp will run at 280w through 8ohms and 500w at 4ohms

    This thread was originally for selling my Mibass stack, however I have reconsidered that sale and decided to keep both Mi12 cabs for now and sell the head on its own. It is in very good condition, mostly used at home as a headphone amp but has had some use at rehearsals, I don’t have the original box but it will be sent very well packed.     I dont know if this is correct pricing or not, but Pink Floyds 2011 Discovery Boxset is available on MP3 download from Amazon for £5.94, the individual MP3 albums cost this much on their own. I have paid my money and I am downloading the tracks now. I am using this as a chance to get to know some lesser known Floyd tracks, any recommendations?     I made it through the gig and enjoyed it too, only problem was I using the bass rig that was already in place and it just couldn't compete with the pretend Brian and pretend Roger. Next time, I will make sure I use my rig or at least soundcheck. Also if I had a pound for every time somebody told me to cheer up and enjoy it I would have £12 at least! Think we will widen the song list to beyond Queen, hopefully I can get some Who in and go dressed in a skeleton suit and continue to look suitably miserable.

    Is anybody using a one cab solution for utilising the full power of the MiBass 550. I currently run two Mi12 cab's but would be interested in a similar sized one cab solution. I guess any cab of at least 500w and 4ohms would be suitable, any recommendations?

    I have my first gig of sorts coming up next Saturday, but I am at a loss as to what I should wear. It is in my ex-bosses large garden, there is normally approx, 100 people invited to an all day/evening garden party/bbq. We are essentially playing Queen tunes so I am J Deacon, what should I wear other than clean pants and a smile? Should I go with something Deacon'esque or something suitable generic, as a fat lad I fear the small yellow shorts are out

    Nothing wrong with them, at £125 it was a deal I had to try. However I tend to play with a touch of compression and nothing else and I use my dedicated compressor for that.

    I have decided to sell the Zoom B9 I bought around Christmas time last year, as with every effects pedal I buy it never gets enough use, I have been through quite a few now and never seem to learn my lesson! I dont think I would be understating/overstating it to say that this pedal has had less than 2hrs use, I have probably spent more time walking around it than using it . The Gator gig bag that I bought to go with it has had no use at all and is brand new with tags. I have the original box with paperwork and the Cubase software too, the whole package is for sale at £100 delivered.
