  1. The Plastic Sage - The Buggles
  2. I'm not hearing any drive, just envelope and lots of compression.
  3. Is this a serious question or a long-winded way of telling us you think modern pop music isn't very good?
  4. Envelope filter on mild settings, not too much quack, and crush the hell out of it with compression. It's a while since I've heard it but don't remember any distortion or overdrive but if there is I'm sure your Sansamp would cover it.
  5. My Own Summer (Shove It) - Deftones
  6. Patrick Bateman - Manic Street Preachers
  7. Just seen this on Facebook re: the Grabber: Seen at Reddit: "Gibson Grabber Reissue by Epiphone I've got some exciting insider news: Epiphone is set to re-issue the iconic Gibson Grabber model bass from the 1970s, which was discontinued in the 1980s. The Epiphone Grabber bass will be available in a natural finish, and black finish. Unlike the original sliding pickup, this re-issue will sport a non-movable, mounted pickup. All this goodness will be available for a price of $999.99, and is set to be released late 2024". Not much to grab then...
  8. Looks great... typical oversized Epiphone tuners, but that's an easy fix!
  9. They're Coming to Take Me Away - Napoleon XIV
  10. There have always been s*** songs with s*** lyrics. This particular one - or something similar - gets wheeled out time and time again as an example of how bad/sordid/offensive (delete as applicable) modern music is, or strangely, in defense of older songs that were once totally acceptable but now seem a bit iffy. Regardless of your opinions of Brown Sugar, quoting a random contemporary lyric doesn't really justify or apologise for it. In years to come, will society look back at Nicki Minaj's lyrics and collectively shake it's head in a "what were we thinking?!" haze? Possibly. Maybe it'll just be seen as the meaningless rhythmic word salad that it is. There's nothing behind it. Brown Sugar is powerful, however you view it.

  14. It even looks like the pickups are in the right place! But please, give us more colours than silverburst.
  15. The Everlasting - Manic Street Preachers
  16. Memory of a Free Festival - Bowie
  17. Elephant Man - Mastodon

  20. That rings a bell...
  21. They're only playing a 30 minute sample of the album so even if there are leaks, it won't be the whole thing.
