I would suggest buying pickup bezels from the designer Tubeampology - the Rick version is, ironically, a rip-off of the design and very much a cheap knock-off. I started a thread about this pedal last year and we still haven't seen any demos!

I answered "distorted" but it's a bit of a cheat, I use an EBS Billy with an EQ pedal in the distortion loop to cut lows and boost highs for more of a guitar amp sound. The result is a basic bi-amp simulation but works very well for me.
