I did consider parting with my Wal, but the thought of watching somebody wander off down the drive with that in their hands made me feel quite ill. So alas, it's this lovely beast that's got to go!

    I've no means of weighing the bass unfortunately. I've had several Stingrays over the years and this is certainly one of the heavier ones. I'd guess at 10 lbs plus. Cheers

[list] [*]Tobaccoburst finish [*]Ash body [*]Maple neck [*]Maple fingerboard [*]3 band eq [*]Original MM hard shell case [/list] This is in fantastic condition other than a dink on the front of the bass between the scratchplate and the lower horn. I touched this in when I bought it and it's now barely noticeable unless you are up real close. I'm in South Yorkshire and would very much prefer collection although I am quite partial to a shady service station type meet up! Cheers

    £350 ono Blond 1963 Hofner President acoustic. Completely original. I purchased this from Dave Mann Music in Nottingham in the mid '90s. If I recall correctly I traded a Senator bass in for it. Very good condition, [s]pictures to follow[/s] There are a few odd marks as you would expect, but all in all it's a beautiful looking instrument. No case so collection/meet up only.     BEWARE !!! My first bad experience buying on BC. My bad for not checking feedback first. 'Samuel' responded to my wanted ad for a Trace cab cover. This is what he described as 'as new condition'. Covered in crap, a hole in the top and the corner glued so tightly where it has been ripped that it barely even fits the cab anymore. No response from my displeasure. Steer very clear

I got the amp back following it's service yesterday and very lovely it sounds too! The pics show the 3 incarnations of effectively the same amp from the same generation. On the top is my latest acquisition, an AH250SMX with a fan instead of a heatsink. This is the only one that actually has '250 watts' printed on the rear cover. In the middle is the same head but with a heatsink and finally at the bottom is the 1215SMX combo, again with a heatsink. They all sound great, look great and should hopefully be good for a fair few years to come

I picked up an absolute bargain 250smx yesterday (not the one off eBay that sold yesterday, although that still wasn't a bad price) - I have issues resisting these amps 😍. It sounds great but I've taken it straight in for a service/once over so once I have it back, I'll post pictures of the 2 different types.

    Hi all Here's one that's been puzzling me. I've had (and have) various SMX heads from the 90's. The 250 I have has a heat sink, yet I've seen many others that don't. These are all from the same era (i.e. single continuous line around the front plate), yet they're different. Was this an amendment that occurred part way through the life of that range, or were some fitted with fans or didn't require the heat sink? Cheers
