1. Bump for a great guy and a great bass!
2.
An oxymoron, surely?
This is just amazing! Thank you all so much for the info, we have an Ipad 2 now so we'll carry that around and use this thread for a reference book. Hell, I'll never remember all this Just one more question, I have a mobility scooter, just a smallish one and am trying to work out if its worth taking it with us? How scooter/disabled friendly is the area we're going to? It would make my life tons better if I could use it.
3. Ok, guitar shops are out sadly. Going with daughter & son in law + wife so best keep to the touristy things. Travelling by train from Laindon station leaving my car there. Will that still arrive at fenchurch? Where is the science museum from there? I think the eye and Sci mus are the main places + anything else nearby there That I can manage. I'm pretty hopeless finding & correlating info on this blessed machine.
4. I often send basses without a case, not difficult just a bike box cut down and lots of scrunched up paper etc' Bombproof
5.
Sensible offers????? It's a bloody steal at £600. If you ain't in financial dire straights, bide your time, a buyer will come along. These are terrific basses, up there in the Super Jazz category. Wish I had space for it
Space? You've got cars haven't you?
6. Phew! I think we need a month to do this justice Some great ideas here, the bagel shop sounds wonderful. Up to now the Eye & bagel shop, Science museum... Anyone know if there is a mobility scooter rental place around there?
7. What about the pic with the cover on? Thanks.
8. Thanks guys, appreciate the input.
9. I love USA Jazzes, wonderful things but I've never owned a boutique bass.
10. We are going to stay at our daughters for a couple of days in Basildon next week and are planning a day in London. Can anyone recommend a good music shop? I've never been to Denmark st or even London in my life (I'm 65) so wouldn't like to miss an opportunity. Is the Eye worth a rotation? Any other 'must see's'? Can't walk very far these days. Thanks guys.
11. Top man Mark is, he just bought my Squier Precision, Lightning fast payment with great communication. Never even asked to see a picture of it, thank you for your trust. Gentleman, scholar and acrobat! Hope you enjoy it. Regards, Tom.
12. Zen Mike you hire some really nice basses
13. Shame about the pickguard but never mind, is there a pic with the cover on?
14. I have one the same as the blue one above, bought here for 399 shimblats and it's a great bass, a real keeper for me.
15. Had an identical one, superb instrument in every way, wish I hadn't sold mine now seeing that.
16. Hmmm....... My love of these is well known, do I need another? Hmmm.....
17. Hi, it would be helpful to know where you're located?

I really like these
19. This is my immaculate 3 colour sunburst Precision made in the good ol' US of A. This is without doubt the best I've ever owned with a very low action that plays cleanly and with a lot of thump as expected. Comes with the shaped Fender case which is also immaculate. Weight is 8.6 lbs on my digital scales and also has the fully working S1 switch. There is 1 very tiny dimple on the front above the pickguard, hard to see though and even harder to photograph. Looking for £695, not looking for trades unless you have a 335 or similar. Thanks for droppin' by y'all. **Just for the record the missing PG screw is back on and the straplocks are coming off and the standard ones going back on.
20. I think I must be egocentric, I like being in the middle of things.....
21. Did you read the ad or just look at the pics? Lovely, lovely bass Andy!
