1. Used in studio for a great bass sound, cab has a few tears in the Tolex but it is a vintage valve amp with footpedal. Bought for dual use with Pedal Steel but great for guitar and bass as well. Very, very heavy so meet, delivery or collection essential. Rare opportunity to pick up a powerful Fender 100w combo with a 15" driver. Exceptionally loud with that great Fender tone. Casters and tilt stand still in place. Looking for £450 ovno and will include an amp stand Any interesting trades out there? Looking for a Gibson EB2/Epiphone Rivoli or a 4001/3 Rickenbacker with cash from me

  4.
Well spotted Mr. S. You'll find that I am mouthing the words 'Soul Man' at that point. Being a simple drummist, he often needs reminding which number we are playing even when it's well under way.
Good to know the "older guys" are still out there rocking and a rollin !!! and a great clip from The Maggie Bank Proper Boys gig tonight at Blackbird in Ponteland if you like heritage rock and new member Neil "Toots" Perry injecting some soul on sax Be there or be square Johnbiffa

    Sold
Hi all. Bought this in December. I have had 3 real Rickenbackers and always sold them on. Bought this to get a "Rick" back in the amoury. Last 4 gigs, it's been tuned up then put in the stand looking pretty, whilst I use my jazz. Watching the Iron Maiden documentary last night was the final straw, I must get a Precision, so reluctantly this must go. So, its a Tokai Rockinbetter (although there does not seem to be any proof Tokai make them). Real Rick pick ups, bridge/tailpiece and wiring. Since buying it, I asked Richard Tomson of Tomson Guitars (Wigan) to cut a new nut, as the original was not great. It has had new strings and a full set up. My photo's will inevitably be crap (if I can upload!), however if you go to e bay, do an advanced search on item number 270492829061, you will find the original listing and excellent photo's. I am looking for a Precision (Steve Harris model would be great, or a white one). Alternatively around £550 cash, collected. I really do think that around £400 of mods on this make it worth about what a new one would cost. Would be delighted to answer any questions. Many thanks, Karl. Sorry, forgot, I live in Wigan but will deliver or meet up free within 50 mile radius. Further than that would need to discuss.
Was this the bass on ebay before Christmas? Does it sound like a Ric ? I could collect if we strike a deal but only on Monday evening otherwise it would have to be the following week! Look forward to hearing back !!! John
  6.
Hi Kalim Do you still have the combo? John Apologies Didnt spot the Sold sign !!! John
  7.
Hi All, I bought this absolutely superb and very loud 150 watt (12 inch speaker) combo from Carlos on this forum sometime last year and have not gigged it but only a few home twinkles. It is FAR too good to be just used this way and is the best combo I have ever used with a 4 or 5 string courtesy of it high quality speaker and electronics which EBS are renowned for. Everything is working as it should be with no loose controls, etc. This is NOT the cheap China made one but made in Sweeden. It eats 5 string bass - enough said without ever sounding boxy like even some 15 combos with a five string. This is not the new Neo speaker version but when you play through this and hear the depth and quality of sound, !t will not bother you the slightest. Fantastic for slap and great depth for rock as the eq is very powerful and responisve, I am sure you know all the other specs. Will consider trade for a headless 4 string bass Looking for £450 + £25 delivery Cheers Kalim
Hi Kalim Do you still have the combo? John
  8.
Afraid that I'm not interested in trades at the moment as this sale is a fund-recovery operation for a recent new purchase that I've already made. Sorry Rasta, Si
Hi How about £475 and a brand new boxed EBS Microbass 11 PreAmp, collection on Friday late afternoon/evening? johnbiffa

  17.
I have a 'display' guitar rack (I believe made by Dixon) which holds 9+ guitars & looks very similar to this.... I can't find an 'actual' picture of mine but you get the idea! It's like the ones you see at Music Trade Shows that have the latest model guitars/basses displayed on them.... It's in an unassembled state at the moment in storage so no actual pictures. Dimensions are approx: Width 5ft 4" Height 5ft Depth at base 2ft 2" These are very hard to get hold of outside of commercial/trade circles & can cost up to £300 but this one can be yours for £120 Pickup from Surrey is infinitely preferable as shipping would be expensive, unwieldy and would be at buyers cost...
PM'd re purchase and collection John
