1.
I must say i can't STAND stupid little kids who say "oh i can't play very fast/well because my guitar is too SLOW!" No such thing as a slow guitar, just a slow player.
So true, I have a p-bass copy with the thickest neck known to man, it would be classed as a slow guitar but I have never had a problem with speed.
 2. Buy one of the loverly Vintage real wood models and get GAS like I have.
 3.
Yeh, but I can actually see the value of those stairs, the whole veneer was absolutely amazing.
I also saw the value of those stairs, one bloke, a few months work and the result was excellent.
 4.
might be something to do with how the economy is at the moment.not a bad deal though as the cheapest price at my local store was £585 for the 2x10 classic cab.although soundslive did have that cab on offer at £377 for 2 or 3 weeks a while ago.
The cabs are great (out of my price range but sound good when played at the stores)
 5.
soundslive are advertising a mag 600w amp on its own or in a special deal with either a 1x15 or 2x10 classic ashdown cab.they state that the amp is uk built and its exclusive to soundslive.this is obviously a deal they have with ashdown at the moment, but wonder why the mag head is being built over here again and at a good price of £300.
I saw this a while back and was very confused. I wouldn't of thought Ashdown would bother to build some UK MAGs anymore.
 6. Mine is £140, why did I spend so much
 7. Nice!
 8.
Email using their Technical Support page rather than 'Sales'. Unlike most companies, I find that their Technical Support respond much faster to emails than their Sales do.
I emailed a person from tech support that I already have the email of, that way I know they can't say they didn't get it.
 9. I opened it up, it is an 80mm fan that is 12v, but instead of having a plug to the board it has two wires that are soldered. Joy. I shall try ashdown again.
 10.
I got a call to come down to a blues jam tonight. Went down there. Got offered the house bassist job as I was leaving. It's not because I'm good - it's because there were no other bassists there. Yes, it's real easy to get gigs as a bassist.
I am get lots of offers at my school, have just done the Wiz. Learned the whole lot in two weeks.
 11.
Hit Me with Your Rythmn Stick Come on come over Jaco I am back playing bass after a long time off so I can play the notes ok, not happy with the feel.
PeterGunn!
 12.
Yeah, "Ready Freddie" might still be on the road with the Dan at this time.
And you expect Jacko to be able to sing through a whole set un-aided? Did you see him at the press conference?
 13.
*malnourishment five*
he he.
 14. Show you amp guts here, it is always interesting to see inside them! I will post mine in a bit.
 15.
it lies, you've always got more than you think... I haven't eaten properly in 3 years
I haven't either
 16.
ah g'wan! Wish someone had tempted me when I saw that lefty status
He he, I shall have a think, and then a long look at my bank balance.
 17.
you can always afford a new bass!
Don't tempt. It is a bad thing.
 18.
Absolutely! I'm even selling my Spector for one!
I have just bought an amp and a cab, so I doubt I would be allowed to buy this bass, well, it is christmas My first bass was a Vintage V4 and it was a good bass.
 19. Great cable arrived today, except I cocked the order up.
 20. GAS time!
 21.
I emailed straight away to Ashdown a few days ago, but I have yet to hear a response. I might try again.
What is the minimum airflow for a solid state amp mean't to be?
 22. I got a great rig for all of £250 used gear is great.
 23. I just need a Fender P and I am sorted.
 24.
Email Ashdown first with regards to replacing it. I think however they're just standard fans, so if you were to say, nip to a PC shop (online or not) and buy the correct size (and airflow obviously has to be same or better on the replacement as the amp will be designed for a certain minimum flow in mind for cooling), and look for "quiet" pc fans, you should be fine.
I emailed straight away to Ashdown a few days ago, but I have yet to hear a response. I might try again.
 25. Mark Bass have really driven their prices up lately, but should be good.
