(withdrawn for now) Ampeg SVT610HLF c/w Cover
petergales replied to tricky's topic in Amps and Cabs For Sale
These are great cabs. I used to have one and bought it to replace my 410HLF as It seemed louder and easier to hear myself. As it happened I found it much easier to transport as I had an estate car so I wasn't faced with the dead lift of the 410. All I needed to do was put a bit of carpet over the rear bumper, lean the cab back then it would slide in easy as pie. I would still have it but band requirements changed and it had to go. GLWTS -

I find this problem with lined boards as I tend to go the 'wrong' side of the line. With a plain board I can adjust my finger position more-or-less in the way I used to do with my double bass. -

Thanks BigRedX. What brand was the bass you mention in your post? -

Thanks Beedster. You got it correct. I'm looking for an unlined board with side markers in the same location as they would be if the board was fretted. Good tip about the marker pen and Tippex - thanks. -

Thanks. I'll try to follow that up. -
Does anyone know of a manufacturer who makes a fretless where the side dot markers are in the same position as they would be on a fretted bass? I get a bit confused when I try lined boards but side dots on an unlined board seem more natural to me. I don't want to go to the expense of a custom job, just want to play for fun really. Thanks Pete
